My mom gave me a magazine article when I was younger about people who keep the plastic covering on their furniture to protect it, and that you should take that plastic off and enjoy the beauty of it. If not for Karen sharing these high end delights, I would never know about them. I see these items as works of art, hence the price for a piece of original art. One could argue against the high price of a van Gough as nothing more than oil paints on fabric. I love learning about the art works created by fashion artists. I may never buy an expensive bag or a van Gough painting, but I can definitely admire their beauty and workmanship. What makes this so exciting is I get to share in the joy of owning a piece of art. Beautiful bag which suits you perfectly! I agree with the comments below than everyone should spend their money on what is important to them. As you may notice from my picture, I play classical guitar. A hand built instrument by a good luthier can cost well over $10,000. A used instrument which has been well kept, however, can sound just as fabulous for half the price... and I love mine :)

I rehab vintage Coach bags for a hobby...I find it relaxing to clean and polish, but I still leave patina and marks as they are the History of the bag...wrinkles scratches and marks show its been loved and used. And the Hermes Kelly is Beautiful...I look forward to seeing her on your arm enjoying her next life.

Ya know Karen, here’s the thing. I think what makes people have adverse reactions to the luxury unboxing is more about the person than the items. You have such a sweet spirit and are so relatable that people are genuinely happy for you. People like Simply Shawna (sp?) and Brittany (Pockets and Bows) and a few others are kind, sweet individuals. There’s a whole lot of pretentiousness going on here on KZbin and I think that’s what turns people off. I’m always excited to see what you get because you are an all around cool, down to earth type of woman! You’re a girls, girl…like a best friend and people relate to your likable personality!

Absolutely beautiful! I have one I bought last year it’s also a 28cm in chocolate box leather from 1954! She’s 67 years old! Older than my mom and she’s in amazing condition if you ask me for her age. She does have some cracking and so on but she’s absolutely beautiful in my opinion.
