I have a 1941 1666 like that and the e-unit had to be rebuilt to run properly. It is a great tough engine!

Other than the valve gear (I ordered a new part), this one doesn’t seem to be broke mechanically - it probably just needs a cleaning and a live, and it should run properly. It was trying to move…

Just so you all know, the seller was very kind about all of this, and keep in mind - I still don’t exactly know how much of the damage was from shipping and how much was already there and I just did not notice from the listing pictures. The seller was not an unreliable seller whatsoever. In fact, I would gladly do business with them again, and would not hesitate to recommend them.
