Ha! Good callback. Yep, blue is more accurate while red is more powerful!

Very nice presentation of a rifle I have absolutely no interest in, My first rifle was a .22 on I believe a Number 3 Remington Rolling Block, soon to be traded in 1956 on a deal for an almost new "Mountie" version of the Marlin 39 with a straight grip and a 20 inch barrel, I wish I still had the Remington, but I still have the Marlin. To me, and this is only a personal preference that I don't expect others to share, if the firearm is not blued steel and walnut, I have little or no interest in it. My favorites are a Fox Sterlingworth lightweight 16 gauge with two barrel sets, an early Model 70 in .375 H&H, an another early Model 70 in .30-'06, my grandfathers Model '86 light weight in 45-70 made sometime in the early 1900's. I also have early Colt Revolvers in .45 Colt circa i880 that I still use in CAS, they are in 7 1/2 in barrel length and have the requisite US Army cartouche on the grips, my grandfather's. I also shoot an 1884 vintage model '73 Sporting rifle in 44-40 also my grandfather's. All are well used but in excellent condition, my most modern firearm is a Singer manufactured 19ll A1 .45ACP which I use as a carry piece when I am not carrying the old revolvers. All that are required to be so loaded are loaded with Black Powder. Having these wonderful old firearms, I have little interest in modern ones, oh yes, I also have a Winchester manufactured Garand as well that I use along with my 1903 Springfield for competition. Your presentation however was quite good though I wouldn't make space in my gun safes for this piece if it was given to me.
