Unboxing and Collecting - Making A Button-Jointed Kitty Doll from Jenny Barnett - Art dollmaking

I really never thought of myself as a collector.... but I find that I am! My doll making journey has brought me to many other doll makers that I admire so much. Often, I find myself taking a tutorial from one artist or another, or making a kit with their patterns and instructions. These treasured experiences have added to both my doll collection and my doll making skill set!!!
This beautiful kit came from the very talented Jenny Barnett. I have admired her sculpted doll kits for a very long time, and have bought one for myself, as a winter treat, these last 5 years. I was so happy to put together and dress this lovely cat doll, and Calliope Kitty (aka - Callie Kat) was even happier to join the rest of the family when she was all gussied up in her Regency Period inspired day dress.

Jenny Barnett creates such beautifully detailed dolls! I have a kit I bought actually several years ago, waiting on my “to-do” shelf (yes, there is enough on there to occupy me forever, but I still add to it…I am a collector, too!) 😊

This video is just heaven on earth for me 😍😍😍😍 It is such a shame it is nowadays this incredible expensive to ship from the UK to countries like mine (Berlin/Germany). But - this cannot stop me: I will have to order such a kit in the near future because I deeply Fell in love. Thank you so so much for your heavenly composed video ❤❤❤❤

Just a few minutes ago I discovered your clips about your Hitty doll - OMG! Had to check Gail Wilson's (whom I had never heard about before!) website immediately but it seems to me that she does not sell kits right now. I loved the book "Hitty: Her First Hundred Years" when I was a girl - My little Hitty Diane looks so much like my mom did when she was a girl.💖 I hope she sells more kits soon! Best wishes!
