Hi Amy, another great video. I was going to get the DAC mini kits but wasn’t sure because of the colour boarders as I prefer them all white. I’am loving the new Temu flower kit. Will have to look out for that one. I now have most of the Temu kits and they are so nice. I do prefer the mini kits now rather than the bigger kits as they are so much quicker and easier to do. Xx

Yeah, I've been doing more minis lately. I saw Temu had an old masters kit now. I might need that one. I think the borders are not a deal breaker for me. They can be cut, taped over, painted or just left alone. I guess it's supposed to be like a free mat for instant framing.

I'm new to your channel today, and thank you for doing that comparison. I wish like you that Diamond Art Club had put the name of the flower on the plastic so you would know for sure that you were putting the right drills down on the right painting. They also seem smaller than the other kits. But I do agree that getting the new tool kit with it is bonus. ❤

Yes, thank you for watching! I haven't done any of them yet, but I do like the new trays. The prices weren't too bad, either. Saw their storage containers today. Twice the price of the other brand like them. I probably won't be trying those.

Hi Amy, you can find the names of the DAC flowers on the cardboard piece that was wrapped around the small box. On the front of that wrap, you can see pictures of the flowers and on the back side are all the names. Hope this is helpful😊

Ina’s. I recently almost ruined a small canvas by sealing with clear Krylon spray paint. I had used it on previous picture with good results. I did not check that spray was clear. I had changed from clear to yellowish color. It turned my picture from white to pale beige. It worked ok leaving background beige . Picture was ok with beige instead of white. Pease check your sealer color before applying to canvas.😢

Yes! I had a mod podge one turn yellow and flake off after a couple of years. I try to use stuff specific for diamond painting or minwax sealer.

These are nice kits. I’ve been using the new pen. I have found f that it comes unscrewed as I’m using it, but like the putty snd the contour of the pen. Thanks for sharing. Wonder if you can paint the border if you find like it

These are cool.. only thing stopping me buying minis is I won’t do anything with them once complete, I like the cacti ones best, though might get bored with the greens lol😅 ty for sharing…oh, and the putty pen looks good, I recently tried putty and kept getting it on the canvas.. any tips?

Thanks! I think it depends on the brand. The DAC putty was too sticky for me and did the same thing. I prefer the putty from Randas Crafty Corner on etsy. You can also add some corn starch and knead it in to make it less sticky.

I’ve been a bit stressed out while watching this because it appears you have a cut between two fingers on the back of your right hand. It appears to be bleeding on the back and front both. I keep yelling at you to look at your hand, but do you listen? No. I hope you got it bandaged up before you got dna all over your new stuff. ☺️

I did, was hoping it wasn't noticeable. It was actually a scab that came off. Most of the blood had dried by the time I saw it. I started hiding that hand for the second half. It is all good, now.
