I believe the little horns on the baby sprites was simply for the V3. Different baby sprites for each version, I think?

I believe it has been confirmed that the Japanese models also offer the language choice of Japanese or English.

The market for old Connections in good condition has been strong for a while, but we’re seeing a bit of a dip in pricing for V3’s at this time because of the re-releases!

My tamagotchi connection re release is showing age 0 and I bought it yesterday is it a glitch 😭

I'm not sure, I haven't run into any glitches yet. If you've the same baby with no evolution for over 24 hours, then I'd say it's worth replacing the battery and doing a reset to verify if that fixes things. If it doesn't, then I'd say it's worth exchanging your device.
