Unboxing and Review Graco child car seat Turn 2 Me UK and European model

In this video, we show you the unboxing and the review of our car seat from Graco, model Rotating 360 Car Seat Turn2Me. FYI This is the UK/European model. In the US, the seat with that name has a chest safety clip which this one doesn't have. In Europe, chest clips aren't allowed as they cause other dangers. More on that can be read here 5pointplus.com.... I merely mentioned that one has to watch it with newborns. After we published this video, now, later on we took a trip from the UK to Europe by car and she was fine. I watched her all the way and now at 2 months, she can support her head by herself.
The seat has a 360° swivel function and ISOFIX. This can be directed both forward-facing and rearwards.
It is suitable from birth to approximately 4 years (18 kg) and two inserts can be removed as the child grows.
We also bought a Smart eLf car seat protector to protect the seat.
All in all the seat is good. Our only negative points are that our little one's head slumped forward when accelerating and that the seat is fixed and you cannot simply take it and carry the baby around with you.

There seems to be a discussion regarding a missing chest clip. There is no chest clip in this model as the European legal requirements ban chest clips. The US model of this seat has a chest clip. More about the dangers of a chest clip can be read here 5pointplus.com/chest-clips-on-child-car-seats/ Graco also didn't mention a chest clip when I wrote to them. One has to watch it with newborns. Now our little one is over 2 months old and she can support her head and it is working fine. We recently took a trip by car from the UK to Germany and I watched her all the way. She was fine.

Why would you eliminate chest clip that's you protect baby from being ejected.

Please stop posting this site. It advocates the use of possibly a dangerous possitioner that could harm or kill a child. It also goes against the rules and regulations in the seat manual. You also used a car seat mat not made by Graco. That's not allowed in any country that I know of. UK rules have actually been pretty lax but one thing for sure is by advertising that false content you could be putting children in danger. The UK is very specific and EMS must be able to remove a child in one buckle. Not two. I personally am concerned about the fit of your child in this seat as is. Please read your manual or purchase an infant seat to get a better fit. The shoulder strap length is way too far apart and might not hold her in on rebound. It will be the lower torso area that may only stay put. Also, unless it specifically states in your manual that specific pads should or shouldn't be used at different stages. I'd follow the advise. Her head is falling forward possibly because you have too much padding in there. Not every baby needs it. Please consult your car seat experts on proper installation and use. I feel like you haven't read the manual either as we listen to you put it in.

@@sammottley8462 Its actually dangerous when you look into it. In Europe the chest clip is banned. You need to get the baby as fast as possible out of the seat in an emergency. The clip prevents it.

Can I ask, when fitted if you wriggle the seat do you get movement? I’ve installed mine but worried I might not have done it right. All indicators are green

It does wiggle slightly as well, but the seat always stays in place and never tilted. As long as all the indicators show green it should be fine. It has been the same in other cars. We have more of a problem getting it out of the car and installing it into rental cars when we travel.

So glad i bought the cybex cloud T instead, so much easier to use with rotate handles on the Base and that on both sides, just how its supposed to be.

I’m interested to know what make and model car you have? I have tried the Ickle Bubba Radius 360 and the Britax 360 but they both do not fit in my car without pulling the front passenger seat completely forward. Having a nightmare with rotating seats!

I bought this recently for our newborn granddaughter. When placed in the seat, she was almost bolt upright with her head flopped forwards. The backrest would not allow her head to go between the cushioned bit. The recline facility is terrible with very little adjustment. I've seen other baby seats where the child can lie back, not on this one. Disappointed.

I think you guys are missing a part. There should be a chest clip that goes between the shoulder pads and buckle. Maybe you have to add them. Check the box to see if you have them. It would not be safe to use this seat without them. Great video
