Hey Beauty Bestie. The foundation dries down quicker and once it dries down that is the color it stays for the rest of the day. Which is different from the past when it would oxidize in the middle of the day for sure. And yes, the skincare built in makes it feel so comfy.

I want to try macs serum foundation. What's best way for me to apply mu foundation? I want my skin to look its best without looking overly made up

If your skin is dry or you like radiance you will love the serum powered foundation. I like using a brush because you can control the amount of product and blending. If you need brush recommendations let me know.

I don’t like it😩 It’s looks more chalky or yellowish. The old formula melted in smooth and had superb coverage. It gave a nice smooth glow, while the new foundation just looks very make-up-y. Mac please bring the old formula back! It’s so bad I’m considering trying NARS

The new formula doesn't match the OG shades. Old NC44 is much more richer and the new formula is much lighter and and ashy looking. So disappointed. Why can't the shade stay the same.

I definitely had to shift my color. To answer your question, the nerd in me knows that pigments that build coverage and color have different weights depending on the formula of a foundation. Hope that helps.
