I HAVE TO CORRECT MY COMMENT THIS SAYS IT IS 2200 WATTS I THOUGHT YOU SAID IT WAS 220 WATTS. THIS IS A PROFESSIONAL SOUND SPEAKER THAT REALLY HAS A VALUE OFF WELL OVER $500 THE FACT YOU SAID YOU GOT IT FOR $189. IS CRAZY. IT SAYS IT HAS 2200 WATTS BUT IT ACTUALLY HAS A BRIDGE OF 2- 550 WATT AMP CHIPS THAT WOULD ACTUALLY BE 1100 WATTS WHICH IS STILL PRO QUALITY. BUT THE BIGGEST FEATURE IS THAT . IT HAS AN AUTO LINK TO WORK WITH ANOTHER SPEAKER BY BLUETOOTH NO WIRE NEEDED NOW IT IS, 2200 IF YOU TURN UP THE VOLUME ON ANY SPEAKER IT WILL TURN UP BOTH VOLUMES EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR SOURCE HOOKED UP TO IT. THIS IS UNPRECEDENTED IN ANY OTHER SPEAKER THAT I KNOW OF CRAZY. RAY YOU HIT THE LOTTO WITH THIS PURCHASE.

@@DIYRAY tell you what I've been looking for Bluetooth speaker mostly 80% of them come with the flashing lights which I really don't care much for I care more for performance and loudness but neither do I want to go spending hundreds of dollars on one I'm going to purchase one when the time is right but I like watching videos and getting to know the different typesof speakers lots to choose from lol

I have this speaker, it’s not heavy 1 person can carry it plus it got wheels and a handle. It’s got the best base out of any speaker I’ve owned it absolutely slaps and that’s only at like 1/3 volume

He set the speaker on the stand the hard way. The stand should be put together first, then lift the speaker onto the stand. Then simply adjust stand & speaker to desired height, and lock in place. His way wouldn't work very well 4 shorter ppl, bcuz trying to lift that long pole attached to that heavy speaker will be a pain trying to connect pole in pole. Just saying 🙄. Nice speaker tho, I just bought mine from BJ's too, and the mic actually sounds nice & clear coming throug speaker.

1. What is the actual rms wattage of the product, there is no way that it is 2200, i doubt it even does that in peak wattage, a standard 15 amp 120v outlet will only 1800 or so continuous.... 2. What happened to altec? They used to be something serious, now it seems they're a joke putting out nothing but half assed bluetooth speakers and a party speakers that is nothing but bling instead of being actual quality, all those lights arnt for the aesthetic, only to make up for something lacking and that is banking off of a good name for an inferior product compared to what they used to offer, at least even 10 years ago they still made half "decent computer speakers" 3. Well, at least they make a "pro 18" powered sub and a limited line array option" Who knows how good that really is, especially now with them being joke..." Well an attempt is better then most brands who've been bought out by dumbasses in big suits... 4. It would've been nice ispf they would've made a version without those stupid leds, and made it look professional, but also support the latest and greatest bluetooth codecs like ldac or aptx hd... but nope, looks like its nothing but more cheap junk... well, the altec speaker and the gemini look the same.... how far things have fallen...
