Nice scooter, glad your daughter did not get hurt too bad. I know how it is when your daughter gets hurt, mine did a face plant and I felt so helpless. Kind of gets you in the gut. It looks like when she hit the bump she squeezed down on the throttle causing it to walk out from under. Re cable: It almost seems like the handlebar is maybe spun around or something. When I crashed with my Ecotric I had that problem. All of a sudden my cables were not right. Turns out when I went off the side, the handlebar spun around which put stress on the cables. Once I spun it back everything was great.

Yes, I was just talking with Dad about how I don’t like the throttle, I don’t have very big hands so I when I reach for the break I hit the throttle too.

@@raemurrain2778 I have done that many times especially will getting on the bike. I wish they had an on off button : )

Thank you Papa! That's it exactly! Hits you in the gut. I felt so bad and helpless. Why I generally hate riding on the sidewalk. They are always uneven and dangerous. We unfortunately didn't have a choice at that time due to all that high school traffic in the direction we were headed. We arrived in that area at the wrong time. Hind site I would have just had us turn around and go back down the bike path. Also I would have got her knee and elbow pads first too. I'm thinking about getting a thumb throttle like my MaxFun scooter has. I love that throttle it just works so good.
@WyomingRider9 ай бұрын
I've done this myself too. That is one thing on the Goat bikes and my MaxFun scooter. The Zero start feature. I got in the habit now of setting them to zero when I get off so they don't do that.
@papablueshirt9 ай бұрын
@@WyomingRider I have never used a thumb throttle, but seems like it may be easier is some cases.

Question for attaching the handlebar that slideing thing i cant remove it how did you get it off
@WyomingRiderАй бұрын
Are you talking about the handlebar lock down on the bottom of the Stem? If so you push the red button up and fold it out. It is pretty difficult to pull.

If/when you need to have the scooter serviced, can you take it to any local e-bike shop that works on e-scooters?

Probably depends on the shop. Unfortunately I don’t have anyone that near me so I’m stuck fix things myself usually.
