Glad to see you are doing so much better my friend! That is a pretty nice knife (even if it is made in China 😉!) Thanks for the great review. I had never heard of Kizer knives before this. Something to check out for future me. Yes sir, you are correct. That is a drop point blade.

Glad you like it George, I carry one like it everyday but I work in an office and like you I am a traditionalist in my preferred knives, but I like all knives and this knife impressed me so I bought an extra and gifted it to my son and then it popped up on sale, I did not pay that price you showed , so I bought it for a spare and after two years I had not lost my carry knife so this one was just sitting in my drawer and thought "George might like this knife and would be a good review I had never seen anyone do on this knife before" so I sent it to you hope you enjoy it and get lots of use out of it, it's intended to be a working knife, the only issue with my Kizer is the clip has loosened on my a couple of times and I have had to tighten it up, the screws in the clip are a torx head screw and is a pretty small size Torx bit, not normally found in most sets, I bought a knife specific I believe was made by Schrade or maybe Kershaw with small torx bits, so if you carry this it may happen to you but mine was about a year into carrying it before it started loosening but remember I carry this every day 365 days a year, I do not like Loctite on most things but I use clear nail polish on the threads of screws and they hold very well with that but it allows you to break the screw loose if you have to take them out, Loctite sometimes is difficult to break loose, this is a trick I learned on screws in other applications told to me by an old timer many years ago, anyway glad you like, besides the flipper ear you can open it by using the gimping and just rolling your thumb over the gimping and pushing the top edge over the pivot point, it takes a little practice but gives you an alternate way to open the blade

Kizer is on the pricier side, looked it up, its name translates to "light breeze" a very modern nice-looking knife, thanks for sharing it, George.

Nice knife, and good to explain to people thedifference between a knife (slices) and a chisel(is moved in one direction ;-) The geometry of the blade is nice-spear point? Don't let the supervisor bite you!

@@2ndchancegeorge George, i wanted to ask you, since you've had some of the SwissTech products for a little while now and have used them in the field, how have they all held up? and do you have or have used any of the SwissTech knives and how have they held up and do you have a favorite? would love to know your thoughts at this point of having and using them, thank you sir- look forward to your experience on those, Jerry

Good question. I used the Wurdic as a work edc and it was awesome. Still my favorite Swiss tech. They do a great job and competitively priced. I don't use the bigger stuff as much be when I do they are solid.

@@2ndchancegeorge thank you sir!, yeah, i have the Stahlern , i love their designing they have put into the brand. take care of yourself brother and thanks for the great content you put out for us.

I think when you say a good edc ,work knife that's about the best recommendation à blade can get. After all knives are tools in the end !!

I would not put it in my pocket without a slip either because putting it in could catch the flipper and open it, which is a flaw in the design as well as being tip up like you mentioned, more of a drop point I would say ,looks ok ,but for the price ,not worth it ,for me .scales are great .God bless you 🙏. Lee
@2ndchancegeorge18 күн бұрын
Yep finally. It is well made. Don't think it is really designed for and edc. More of a fiddle knife. Be safe my friend

Don't take this the wrong way George don't like the knife at all I'm not keen on kaiser in other words don't like them light your content though thumbs up keep it going get some more slip joint on or if you want to do a lot back get a Gonzo absolutely excellent for the money won't break your bank you know what I mean
@2ndchancegeorge18 күн бұрын
Yep I hear you more of a traditional knife guy myself. But will say it is very well made. I have some Ganzos and you right very solid. Appreciate you watching always

I'm not a fan of Kizer knives don't own any. If I want a good China made knife I will buy a eafengrow brand got 5 of them and each one is great 👍 I personally like case, buck, camillus, schrade or old timer knives. The older the😂better. I hope you are doing better and God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏
