I just got mine. I unpacked it but my bracelet does not have the same sealing. I have the tag but one side of the bracelet has no plastic folia on it and the other only has it at the top 2 links to the not all the way down. I guess it was opened and taken off. I'm planning to return it explaining that it's not new. Is this normal that every watch does not have the same sealing?

Is it normal for this watch that the hour and minutes hands are highly polished and shiny asymmetrically and shine/reflect on one side while on the other they are bright and metallic but on closer looking you can't bring them to reflect no matter on what angle you let light to reflect on them? I just got my piece (190) and it's beautiful, however after one day I noticed the described fact while "playing around" with it.

Its on most Astron watches, it gives 3D illuson Seiko says. I sont like Titan at all, so I get my Steel Astron. Also hate flat front Sapphire on any watch, same like on your watch, and my Astron SSH021 curved Sapphire, bautifull.

@@denis0007dl Thank you for clarifying about the polishing of the dials! They actually look indeed pretty good as they are, which made me assume that it must not be a quality problem. I also like curved glass and own a Citizen CC4010-80A which was supposed to be my everyday workhorse watch coz I don't wanna wear my only Aqua Terra mechanical watch all the time and everywhere. Both of these other watches have a curved glass and it's very beautiful. I also don't like much black bezels on watches, which is why I was thinking a lot about the seiko line which you have, maybe in dark blue, which has no bezel and looks very classic. But the indexes, especially the hours, made me hesitate a bit coz they're not exactly how I like them. When this Seiko SSH113 came out I couldn't resist to give it a try so I ordered it thinking maybe just to see it in real and then maybe to send it back and keep using my citizen to save some money on my bank account. However this was a big mistake coz when that watch arrived I lost my mind on it even not being a SEIKO but a citizen guy. Indexes shape, dial shape, case shape... Seiko nailed it perfectly with that model as if they had designed it just for me personally! Yes the glass isn't curved but the bezel which is made of Sapphire crystal is slim and shiny and doesn't look like a huge black ring around the glass, but instead it's readable but somehow disappears a bit in the background since it's reflective and takes the color tone of the environment. For example, if it's cloudy that grey reflects a bit on the bezel when you wear the watch outside, etc. It's just insanely made and I can't get it off my hands. Of course I removed all stickers right away and used the watch so a returning is out of discussion now 😂 but I don't care at all. That watch became a part of me upon opening the box, without thinking 😁 About the Titanium material, I had a cheaper Citizen from 2003 (promaster) until now which was titanium and when I bought my Aqua Terra in steel many years later I realised what it meant wearing a titanium watch all these years. It's not even about the weight but mostly about the fact how much better it feels on the hand when worn on hot weather and on a sweaty hand! While steel and glass bottom makes the watch stick on the wet wrist, titanium feels like velvet and keeps apart from the skin. This is the reason I was again looking for a titanium watch as my daily piece.

Worst looking. These traditional watch makers are fooling public. GPS is available even in any Chinese activity tracker as well. So adding in this watch can’t make it any smarter. It’s bulky, complicated looking and impractical time piece.

That is not entirely true. And is a subjective statement. I love the watch and, as a frequent flyer, prefer a watch where I can switch the time on a fly. And FYI his is one of the lightest watch in the segment when we compare it with Tag, Rolex, Tudor, or Longines. Definitely not bulky. But you are entitled to your opinion and taste, and hope you find something that you like.
