Thanks so much for your video. I bought one and on first glance at the instruction manual, I panicked and went straight to KZbin and found you. So glad I did. I will follow your instructions. You made it look easy. Loved the hammer.

*Remember that this saw needs to have adjustments made to make 0 or 90 cuts accurately **MyBest.Tools** I had to use a right angle on the deck and blade and then adjust the bolt to get the correct reading. Once this is done, it works great.*

Thank-you for the explanation. My instructions had all the pictures about 1 in x 1 in. black and white displayed on half a page of a small booklet. I couldn't make anything out. Again, many thanks.

Thanks for the video. Do we need or use all the bolts, and does the size or bolt used matter when mounting a saw to the stand? Thanks

@@GeekStreet thank you very much, I’m really happy with the stand and will be getting the saw tomorrow. Regards Karen

Looks excellent I will have to get one. Instead of compromising the plastic end caps, I would install the brackets first then add the caps. You are not going to remove them anyway.

Great stand. I think I may mount my saw with those pistol grip tighteners at the back, look like a magnet for knees to bang into!

personally would have put the bolts which attach saw to mounting assembly through from above so the threads were under the saw, bet you change yours after catching a finger or two!!! sorry to criticise but thinking of saving a cut hand when mounting,

Why oh why did you put bolt in from the bottom put the nut underneath neater and safer job lol

If i recall from setting up mine it's because the screws have and need a square hole to grab the screw so you can tighten them. No holes in top of screws and my mitre saw only had nut shaped holes that wouldn't work from above. It's what I thought would look best too but doesn't work. Might on other saws though.

Im thinking of buying this instead of building a mitre stand. My only concern is at 29" tall and I might do my back in using it repetitively. If there's anybody taller than 6'2" with this stand, have you had any issues? Is it comfortable?
@GeekStreet4 жыл бұрын
I'm 6ft and size is perfect.

@@GeekStreet thanks mate, great video Btw. I think ill get it now tbh. I'm probably over analysing the spec as I'm a cheap skate. Just thought it seemed a little short compared to my homemade work bench which is about 10" taller. But to be fair i only use that for hand planning and chisel work. Also just realising that the actual working height will include the thickness or the cross beams and thickness of saw plate too, so it will be fine.

I have the exact same setup, Stand and Saw. The ONLY quibble I have with mine is the two Rollers. They don’t sit parallel to the floor, but have a slight angle so they are not flat, like the main Saw platen. Is yours the same? There doesn’t seem to be any way of adjusting them!
@dlewis46475 жыл бұрын
I have the same problem. Were you able to adjust yours?

do those bolts come with the stand to attach the actual mitre saw to the brackets? good video by the way, very helpful in making a decision to buy the right piece of kit. saw the link in your review on Amazon.

@justinh91007 жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for replying, got a packet of nuts & bolts coach bolts 3 different sizes 60mm, 40mm & 30mm, not sure which bolts I should be using. Thanks
@GeekStreet7 жыл бұрын
+Justin H no problem, just pick the ones that attach it firmly the mitre to the stand. There is a selection as some may be different sizes.

I would’ve taken the extension legs off and added the brackets from the other side to save the plastic caps. That or stick the caps on last 🤦🏼♂️

helpful hint for anyone, like myself. it doesn't fit the evolution fury 3b. I had to make a bracket to fit.
@cliffcarlo1805 жыл бұрын
We have both the Fury 3B and the R210SMS saws with stands in my small workshop. Both saws fitted each stand with no problems at all. So I was a little surprised to read your comment with regards to your 3B not fitting correctly. Hope you have it all sorted now.
