Getting access to the electrical cord is a real problem. I wound up pulling off the whole larger plate with the door still closed. The problem is that it's hard to see the door as separate because the whole thing is black plastic and far away from your eyes. Solution -The door is mounted on and sits over that larger plate. The door opens separately from the larger plate as shown in the video but the trick is finding the thin door seam that separates the door from the plate it is mounted on. The plastic door is only about 1/16 of an inch thick (like a stick of chewing gum)... so get your fingernails just under that thin plastic door. That seam is the place to pull the door open.

Ordered the same freezer 2 years ago. It seems to be running too cold. My wife feels everything is "too frozen". I've adjusted the temp to "MIN" months ago in hopes that it would solve the problem. There has been no change. Any suggestions? Should I empty and defrost the freezer and start over? The fact that the temp gauge spins 360 degrees makes me wonder if I screwed it up by turning it too far at some point. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Steve. I thought your video was excellent. But I do have some questions. I currently have a 7 cu ft freezer and initially, being an organized person, I started with 2 moderately good size covered bins. I basically use my freezer to stock up on sale items I regularly use, and could easily buy 6-12 mo worth of an item if it can keep that long or longer in a deep freezer. Therefore, the idea of putting only a certain category of item in each bin eventually didn't work, because I'd either buy more than could fit, or I'd have less of that category so the bin wasn't filled or even could be empty, so I was wasting space. Have you had this issue, and if so, what is the solution when much of your buying pattern is related to buying when on sale at a good price and exceeding the bin you marked for that category? And the same when the bin is 1/2 full or less, or even empty. Do you keep it that way or do you change the category and then if you later buy more of the category you were out of, where do you place it and still keep everything organized so you can find it easily?
