Thank you for taking the time to watch another one of my videos. What a gun the G3A3 from WE is.
Features:
- Fully Licensed Umarex G3A3 by H&K.
- Faithful replica to the original.
- Realistic recoil action
- Can reach 400fps.
- 20 round magazine.
- Full metal construction.
About the real weapon:
The origin of this rifle can be traced back to the final years of World War II when Mauser engineers at the Light Weapon Development Group (Abteilung 37) at Oberndorf am Neckar designed the MKb Gerät 06 (Maschinenkarabiner Gerät 06 or "machine carbine device 06") prototype assault rifle chambered for the intermediate 7.92×33mm Kurz cartridge, first with the Gerät 06 model using a roller-locked short recoil mechanism originally adapted from the MG 42 machine gun but with a fixed barrel and conventional gas-actuated piston rod. The Gerät 06 would later be adopted as the StG 44 (Sturmgewehr 44 or assault rifle). It was realized that with careful attention to the mechanical ratios, the gas system could be omitted. The resultant weapon, the Gerät 06H was assigned the designation StG 45(M) (Sturmgewehr 45(M) or assault rifle) but was not produced in any significant numbers and the war ended before the first production rifles were completed.
The G3 was the standard rifle of the German army for several decades. Total of more than 50 countries during the last 40 years issued it to its forces, could be seen in every main conflict of the worldwide, Today, G3 and a wide variety of derivative firearms are still in service or manufactured in many countries, with different purposes and calibers, such like 9mm MP-5 submachine guns, 5.56 mm HK 33 assault rifles, 5.56mm and 7.62 mm HK23 and HK 21 machine guns, PSG-1 sniper rifles etc.
Until 1995 that 5.56x45mm NATO caliber G36 rifle replaced the general firearm of Bundeswehr (Germany), the G3 in various modifications served as a general issue firearm and become an icon of 20-century 7.62mm caliber firearm, not only for German Armed forces but also for many other countries.
Specifications:
Length - 1027mm
Weight - 3270g
Inner Barrel Length - 455mm
Power Source - Green Gas / Top Gas
Blowback - YES
Shooting Mode - Semi, Full Auto
Hop-up - Adjustable
Magazine Compatibility - Umarex H&K G3A3 Gas Magazines.
FPS - 400

Thanks for the detailed review! The G3 was (and probably still is) our service rifle during our military service in the Turkish army. I really love this rifle. Don't get me wrong; it's unwieldy, heavy, and hard to reload. Very challenging to use in full auto, and it has really bad ergonomics. But man, I really love it. I wouldn't want to be in close-range combat with it, though. And it's loud, like really loud. I don't know if it's because of the roller-delayed blowback mechanism or because of the 7.62x51, probably both. I've also heard 7.62x39, 5.56 rifles, 9mm, and .45 pistols being shot. They're very loud too, but the G3 is more like a grenade (we had no hearing protection). The only thing I didn't like about the airsoft is the charging handle. It feels too soft in the video. Even the newly maintained G3s had a really heavy charging handle. Like, you had to put the stock on your shoulder so you could charge it. And most of the time, you want to slap the handle because if you don't, you might have feeding issues.

And the award for longest comment goes to you. I’m not to sure how to reply as this was longer than my video… It’s people like you that makes this well worth while. I feel so humble when someone like you takes the time to comment with intreating and thoughtful comments. THANK YOU. You’re right about the cocking handle. There is very little resistance when drawn. It’s funny that this replica is so close to the real thing that even the mags are a pain to load. Give me a m4 or AK and I’ll load it with my eyes shut. This thing I have to raise it and look into the mag well to be able to load it correctly. (Might just be me) I personally think that these guns are so beautiful and well constructed. It’s so slick and streamlined. It’s one of my longest guns and I can only imagine that’s a pain when you have to drag it around outside. I really like the Airsoft version and it’s taking pride in my collection. Again thank you for taking the time to watch my video and for the fab comment. Take care. 👍

Hope it wasn't annoyingly long :D Seeing a G3 that I can own gets me excited. I've had issues with inserting the magazine on the real one, but my commanders, who were really experienced with it, could reload in an instant. It's definitely a cool rifle to have in your collection. Also, I should be thanking you for the detailed review. I'll definitely watch more of your videos as I'm just taking up airsoft as a hobby. Cheers! 👍

@@anilgultek never to long. Very interesting and I have so much respect for anyone who has been in the military. If you’re getting into Airsoft this may not be the best first gun. I understand the electric ones are not great due to the gearbox being of poor quality. (Just what I heard). Hope you like Airsoft. Your rock with all your experience and it’s a good fun day. 👍

Hi. Everything you wrote here, is true. I am portuguese, and we had, and still have the H&K-G3. Since the 60s. It went to our ex colonial war in Guinea,Mozambique, and Angola. I was in the Army in 1985/6, and I had to shoot it. We had authorization from H&K to manufacturate it. It is probably that the ones at your country's armed forces, we're made here in Portugal. Anyway!: it is a hell of a gun!! And it shoots loud as you said. The hell it shoots!! The first time I shoot it, it was with a reducter. 22lr, so it fired that ammo. Funny thing: it sounded like a toy. But a few weeks later, we fired the 7,62X51mms. THAT was a shot!!! 😮Loved your comment. All true!!!

Great classic assault rifle. Think it’s possible performance is let down by being green gas though. Lovely edited video Andrew and thoroughly enjoyed watching it.

Thank you for taking the time to comment and for watching. I’m jealous you got to use the real thing although it’s a very long gun to be running about with and I imagine heavy too. What was the kick like on the real peace. It’s only when fine people like you comment do I realise I’m playing with toy guns…😂😂😂 Always have a lot of time for anyone that serves for their country. 👍 thanks again.

Hi!!! I did not know that you guys did have the H&K G-3 too!! I say ''too'', because we had it and still do here in Portugal, We even had the license to produce it, given by Heckler & Koch. We took it to our ex colonies in Angola, Mozambique, and Guinea. Many men of the older generations before mine, say it saved their lifes. Others died with it, unfortunately!! Back to the gun: this replica is awsome and so is the video. The replica seems to be very perfect, and close to the real steel!!

Hi!! I had to shoot it when I was in the Portuguese regular army in 1985/6. This country had it since the 60s, until today. It went to the ex colonial war, since 1961 until 1975. I do not know for sure if it was there since the first year, but I know it was. In Angola, Mozambique and Guinea. Portugal even had the permission to make it, under the original maker's license. I miss it. Even though I fortunately don't need it. What a gun. This reproduction is very good. Looks so much like "mine"... I hope it lasts. Working. I wish I could own at least this replica... Thanks for the video!!

@@lingwaicheung171 very nice. I don’t have a scar but would like to get one this year. I think if you’re going for a G3 it needs to be the open bolt. The electric one is just missing something.
