Just used my Gasland hot shower .First thing I did was make the pump hoses and gas connections quick release plus install a power switch on the pump because the unit is not weather proof and needs to be stored inside the caravan. Very please with with the shower and I used 15 litres of water and had a good soaking. [will use less as I get use to to it.}

A tip when hooking up the flare connections of your gas line. Lube the face with some WD40 which will help it seat better and prevent leaks.

It is possible to do a simple cheap conversion that allows you to fit these boilers indoors. You need a flue pipe. Some thin copper sheet and Car exhaust repair paste and a few 10mm long screws. Takes about 20 minutes to do the conversion. I have a 36kw 18litre per minute boiler that is fitted inside a summerhouse, heating a Hot Tub.

@@MartinJohnsonOffGridLiving I love it, I think it's much more efficient and reliable than electric water heater. The only flaw I can think of is that I need to change my gas regulator every couple of years. I assume the high gas pressure needed to run it has something to do with it. do you know how much pressure your home's Methane connection provides? Test it at the water heater with a simple car tire gauge. Home's have the methane at 4 PSI usually.(methane is soooooo much more dangerous to play around with than propane (or ethane, butane, pentane, etc.). Maybe you bought a heater that expects propane? (it would be crankable to waaaay higher than 4 PSI). You could try a regulator that outputs a higher pressure for your methane but be VERY careful. Methane is waaayy more volatile, and thus will pressurize much much higher if you find a way to restrict it or liquify it. That would solve the problem except your methane would now be so pressurized that I personally would not touch it. OK for any of the other simple alkane gasses, but not for methane

OK i've connected everything up in my home. Flue/exhaust into same chimney that the big old 'let's invent work for plumbers' water heater was venting to. If I get any reliable CO readings that concern me, i'll redo the venting all pretty and proper like some of my neighbors, two PVC pipes coming out of a cut hole in the wall. Exhaust pipe above, and 3 feet below the intake pipe. Ok well except I don't see an easy way to even access dedicated intake for my Camplux, and the basement is breezy anyway. Only reason I haven't power it up is because the natural gas connection just wouldn't fit right at the very last re-routed fitting, I probably just need to take a break for some perspective. It's been a very long time since me or my elderly mother have been able to properly wash ourselves, especially her. With covid and all, I'm not whining and complaining, but this video and friendly thread make me feel ok about posting updates about a true do-or-die situation. The classic tank heater, under warranty, made and warranty maintained by a company that only works with licensed plumbers. One of the nicer ones in town, so far, quoted me a 'maybe' labor price that was double what i paid for this heater, delivery included. I should probably do something about the insanity level city water pressure coming in, as this is a part of the country where houses are usually very old, and mine has no regulator at the city source(thanks again plumbers) in THEORY that should actually help not hinder tankless response, but at 150 PSI, nothing lasts long in this house, and plumbing up leak free connections takes 3 ,4, 5 attempts.. Thanks again to all!

I wouldn't buy the Camplux. It's a terrible product. I bought one last summer and it worked five times and that was it. After that I couldn't get it to light. I wrote the company and they sent me a new gas assembley unit and it still didn't work. I switch out the propane, bought a new regulator, still didn't work. They sent me a whole new unit and still doesn't work. I'm blown away. It's a simple set up and I had it working fine in the beginning, but something is not right with this product. I think the replacement unit was a refurb, but it should still work and doesn't. I spent hours trouble shooting it. A waist of time.

(Had to do a screen cap and zoom the pic) Effectively, what you’ve shown us here is how to test for a leak in a propane tank hookup. Useful info, but hardly specific to this appliance. Everything else that might be problematic (some of it is confusing in the Camplux instructions) is ignored- treated as if magically completed. Sorry, but this video was a real disappointment and a waste of time.
