Everyone is getting their new kayaks, this time every year. I Like seeing us all unbox a new boat. I just received mine two Days ago. I sold my last kayak to my best friend, with some accessories, and my 1st Bixpy motor. People go from paddle to pedal, to paddle and pedal, then the motor. I just received my 2023' Hoodoo Sports impulse 120, pdl drive. And received my new PP-768 J2 Bixpy motor, complete kit, with the Bixpy gravity rudder. I ordered them together.I have a new 2.5 Suzuki outboard I purchased 3 years ago, because I thought I was getting the Jonny bass boats 100. But the USA Had a pandemic. Next summer I'm going to design a motor mount. So I can run that motor off the stern. Gonna be adding all my electronics, accessories, DIY's, and other new gear I purchased. Great review thank you now i want to buy my second fishing kayak after watching this video ❤😂 I advice you to always remove drain plugs when kayaking… I don’t know why they invented drain plugs ! Useless

This pedal drive is tough AF. I own a similar kayak with the same pedal drive, best advice: Open up the pedal and completely fill it with engine oil, it will get smoother, faster and quieter, no need to to any internal maintenance regularly. Mine has the same design issue, when you get rough waters or rain, some water will get into the hull through those "water collectors" that are the rudder cables holes. That being said, Go for the optional rudder mount, it will track better too. That orange colour is very nice!

When you’re using the kayak take those scupper plugs off and you won’t have standing water in it. It’s designed to flush out water

HOODOO TEMPEST 120P ~ BROOKLYN KAYAKS PK-12... SAME KAYAK! $1500 +/- US I subscribed to you! and thumbs up! You received the best pedal drive... This one will lift up onto the front hatch OUT OF THE WAY! Stabilizer looks good but you won't need it unless in waves or around big boats. TIP(s) FOR YOU: Tie the back hatch to the bungee cord or it will fly away while traveling. Go over the whole kayak and tighten all the screws and bolts (Including the pedal drive) Replace all the bungee buttons with hooks because they do not hold very well. Use the scupper plugs because the floor will have water while pedaling. I put on a back rudder but had to make an extension because the insert points are too close to the back and barely got any steering. IF YOU WEIGH MORE THAN 200lbs / 90kg DO NOT BUY THIS KAYAK!

yup, thats with a brand. i bought mine straight from manufacturer in china, the one that making the hoodoo kayaks, its way cheaper 😅 such a great kayak :)

Nothing wrong with the product quality of made in china. Jus because it is made in China does not mean a lesser quality. There are manufacturers in China that use Exxon resin from the US.
