You can find Mr.Hobby PS-268 here: amzn.to/2zxt1xt
Procon Boy SQ is .4mm single-action #airbrush from Mr.Hobby. In appearance is very close to Iwata Revolution M1 and M2 single action airbrushes, and the set up with .4mm nozzle and 7ml color cup makes it a direct competitor to Revolution M2 by Iwata.
Mr.Hobby comes from Japan as well which guarantees quality and reliability. The testing shows that even if that is your only tool on the bench, it can provide enough to complete complex WWII German camouflage for a 35th scale tank or 48th scale plane.
The paint used for the test is from AMMO by MIG. It requires additional dilution and even with that in mind, the results are astonishing. The airbrush is simple to clean, use and maintain, which makes it preferable tool for many.
Price is only one third of Iwata's Revolution M2 which is pretty much can seal the deal for most of the modelers out there. The quality is absolutely comparable for both of these single-action airbrushes.
Mr.Hobby offers different kinds of dual-action airbrushes, but this is oriented towards slightly different kind of work. In my opinion single-action is a must have tool for fans of NMF/Natural Metal Finish/ jobs as well as for priming and clear coats.
The airbrush is also available in color, which is made from different materials and is almost twice as light as the one reviewed: amzn.to/2y06RiP

Thank you for a nice test of the ps-268, I have been looking for a single action airbrush for easier to cover bigger areas for small woodworking projects and just laying down flat primer on bigger things, and this might just be the one for me :).

Hi Kratos. My 268 arrived yesterday, and I'm having exactly the same problem. My Harder and Settenbeck Silverline don't have this problems, and I'm starting to think that I throw my money to the bin. The paint was absolutely diluted, but the paint accumulates at the point....and it was the first use. The needle doesn't look damaged , so, IdDon't know what to do. I'll try different proportions, but if you solved the problem, any advice would be really appreciated, due this item was bought on plazajapan, and I don't know if returning the item is gonna be easy.

You need to spray away from the model when you start spraying. Double action airbrush makes it possible to keep air flowing over the needle when you cut off paint, that way the needle is paint free when you start spraying again. With single action this is impossible, that is why you should always spray the paint awy before aiming at your model. Secondly you can use flow improver and remove the nozzle cap and use a cotton swab or fingers to keep the needle clean while spraying.

In my experience paints like vallejo, and I assume Mig too, you need higher air pressure. I use 25 psi to spray it undiluted. 16 is too low and will produce the splattering you experienced. I watch reviews to find out what an airbrush can achieve under best conditions. Not to watch a learning curve. For me to want to watch your review, you should practice with it and tell us what was challenging or what came easy. Also, why did you paint squiggles first and then base coat. And why not make passes that go beyond the edge of the model. That way you get even layers, instead of double paint on the edges.
