Hearing that the new iPhone may be adopting wifi -7, if so i'll be upgrading my ubiquiti gear! Good price for you on 2gbps, att fiber is $160 a month here in CA

Change 6GHz channel to 37 or higher make sure to use a PSC channel I find this helps the performance. I would suggest channel 37. Also make sure you are running 160 or 320mhz on 6GHz I would suggest 160 since you don’t have any wifi 7 devices yet only 6e which goes up to 160. One last thing make sure your devices are actually connected to 6GHz

Check speeds only in the 6ghz channel (at router settings)

I get 3gbps over WiFi 7 using an intel BE200 as well as my Galaxy S24 Ultra (my isp offers 8gbps symmetrical speeds over 10EPON) I am using my isp's router (Freebox Ultra, Qualcomm based) as well as a Banana PI R4 with WiFi addon card based on the Mediatek 7990 chipset running openwrt, I can get over 3gbps (almost 4gbps) using MLO on the Banaba PI R4 using my Galaxy S24 Ultra as the client (MLO isn't yet supported in Windows 11). The Banana PI is connected to a 10gbps SFP+ switch. (My while lan is running through 10gbps BiDi fiber across my entire home) My 6Ghz network runs on channels 37 and 53 (I am running 2 separate WiFi 7 acces points)

I’m starting to think all “fiber 1 gig” speed plans are just a joke . I doubled the band width on my 5 GHZ channel on att fiber and I have 1 gig fiber yet on all devices can’t get close to a gig (due to old WiFi firmware) most I’ve gotten is 800 down on my iPhone 13.

Do you need a seperate SSID for the wifi 6E and 7, or can you just create one SSID and the devices decide where to go?
@upstatespeedtests27 күн бұрын
You can but I’ve found the devices don’t always pick the best ban so I have them separated
