I have the Stewardess bag and it holds A LOT! Mine is black and I thrifted it from Goodwill. One of my best finds ever. Yours is so pretty 🤩 I have the Vintage Rambler as well, which is like a baby Stewardess bag IMO. Now you’re making me want to carry them😂

I would have removed the hangtag just like a sales tag until i started looking into vintage coach. I've seen the hangtag put on the inside zip which I think is a good idea to keep it safe without being on show.

I've found alcohol is the only thing gets pen ink out. Gently dab qtip on spot. It will lift dye, so be mindful. If the spot isn't too noticeable on front, I'd probably just leave it.

Cuticle remover will remove ink spots i certainly wouldn't use alcohol! Love my stewardess bag!

Interesting! I have used alcohol to remove ball point ink in the past (and lipstick too) with no damage to most fabrics but never tried it on leather. Does cuticle remover contain acetone? Is that why it works?

Definitely prefer the stewardess bag because of the turnlock. I've had bags with no closure mechanism and they felt too unsecured.

Welcome to the vintage coach world. That's a great bag. Wish the crossbody strap could go longer so it would be more comfortable cross body. Watch that alcohol, it can darken leather. I've loved vintage coach leather bags for years, they were so well made. Have you researched Bonnie Cashin yet? She worked for Coach and brought the company into the female market, and was responsible for many of the leather designs.

Very nice bag! And so glad it didn't get mashed into a too-small box. I've been on a Coach vintage spree this year and packaging is always a worry. Two of my bags were boxed beautifully, one was smushed into a too shallow box and one was mailed in a plastic bag (eek). Fortunately old Coach leather is very resilient and they went back in shape with stuffing and straightening. It feels so disrespectful when sellers do that - like "not my problem anymore". This seller did a good job. Poshmark is on my no-go list after two sellers just didn't ship my purchases and I had to go through Poshmark to get a refund. One was a Coach Sleeping Rose wallet I really wanted. Bummer.

I would think that many bag collectors do what I do - look at your outfit of the day and say "an X color bag would look great with this" or realize you need to carry more stuff that day and select a larger bag. Pure serendipity.

Autumn don't use alcohol on the pen mark - that might leave a more noticeable mark than had you just left it alone. I recently got a teeny-tiny pristine cross body vintage Coach bag and LOVE the feel of the leather!

It seems to ride very high on your body so I don’t know if you’re very tall or if it has a shorter strap than what I’m used to

Alcohol WILL pull out the color, may not be bad but there will be a light spot. I suggest not testing the bag, but remove the strap and swab the inside of the loop that holds the strap hardware. Any spot will be hidden and never noticed. If alcohol doesn't work try NON acetone nail polish remover. Plus many removers have moisturizers that will help as well.
