Do you visit an endocrinologist? It seems like you have a hormone imbalance 😢 eyebrows I was told is thyroid. I have been trying “Living Proof Scalp Care Density serum for thinning and grey hair” I’m on my second bottle so maybe 4 months and I have seen thickening. I haven’t tried Minixicil (spell) or Vegamore which others something recommend. I am using the eyelash growth serum from GrandeLash and they also have a tinted eyebrow gel/serum too. Both are helping! Thanks for sharing Claire! I sure hope you feel better soon!❤❤❤❤

Hi Clair! I would suggest minoxidil if you want hair to grow immediately without needing to know the cause. Because if it is alopecia, it will work only on live hair follicles. If the hair follicles are already de@d, it won't work anymore.

You can’t take that without checking everything else when you have thyroid issues though. I asked for it and was told no not with the meds I’m on. Luckily upping my thyroxin and oestrogen sorted a lot

Now see i thought I had alopecia also but I'm not sure. I thought the symptoms were balding patches? When we got advent calenders last year there were hair gummies, the brand was "hair gain" i swear I have never had my hair not falling out everywhere since my endometriosis, pcos etc. I took those gummies for 2 weeks and yes back to my old hair! Now they are expensive, I think $33 but I only took 1 a day not 2. I also found some on ebay that don't expire for a year (all sealed) for like $16. You might want to try those before going to the doctor. I even tried another brand with biotin and keratin and it did nothing.

Also does your scalp itch or bother you at all? My scalp gets swollen sometimes and dry and itchy. The briogio hair serum works well for calming if so.

Also LOL you could always write to hair gain and since you are an influencer maybe get like a 6 month trial?

My hair has never recovered from Covid but my issues now are due to menopause hair loss. It's soul destroying after years of Long Covid loss.

I burst out laughing when you said £165 consultation fee. Americans haven’t figured out healthcare. $165 is not a bad price here (after insurance).

Why would your doctor immediately assume alopecia?? When you have thyroid issues, pcos?? Your doctor is just lazy, just like when doctors diagnose patients with fibromyalgia when someone is in pain. Without even checking for other illnesses. I was in extreme excruciating pain for almost a year straight, I looked like I needed an exorcism. Always diagnosed with the same thing, fibromyalgia. Thank goodness my family didn't accept that, and when my current doctor saw me for the first time, he told me that was simply a diagnosis of doctors who are lazy. So he did tests and everything, turns out I had small fiber neuropathy and stiff man syndrone and gave me high dose treatments of IVIG. They're autoimmune diseases, and the IVIG worked, I am now free of pain.

I often wonder what doctors are learning during their many years of medical training as they are all clueless about healthcare. It is so weird.
