Thank you for a lovely video .. Just as a point of interest .. you mentioned looking at the tunnels next visit ..Not only does Liverpool have two road tunnels and a rail tunnel going under the Mersey but a rich merchant (in a bid to give people work and a means to earn money for their families) decided to make many tunnels leading nowhere !! They are now being excavated by amateurs and are a tourist attraction in his name .. The Williamson tunnels, videos on KZbin.

Fantastic video one of our favourite cities that’s only 45 minutes away. I’ve visited it many times but you have shown a lot more of interesting places than I thought. We’ll be visiting again soon. We actually parked our motorhome near Albert Dock for £18 for 24 hours no services but well worth it. Hello. We would recommend a trip. Cathedral is incredible (don’t miss the gardens!) The Albert Dock is brilliantly clean with nice cafes and fancy buildings. There are some underground tunnels that we missed that need checking out and of course take a ferry across the Mersey….. let us know if you do 👍👍👍👍

Love Liverpool. I went on a works trip back in September. Did the Beatles bus tour which was really good. Stuart Sutcliffe was one of the original bass guitarists and Pete Best the drummer before Ringo. The museum of Liverpool is really interesting too. Really great vlog.

My Hometown. I haven't been back since 93. It's at the top of Bold, the church. Did you know that Bold St is known for time slips? And we have two cathedrals-we have one to spare. There's a song there. The other end is Church St with the main shops. Blur coat chambers. The radio tower was a restaurant originally that rotates. I used to work at the Empire as a stagehand when I was 16-17. And the cavern pub was part owned by Tommy Smith ex Liverpool player.

I went to the art college in Hope Street in the late 70s through early 80s then lived in Liverpool to 2020. That cathedral sunken cemetery is near Hope St. So spent a lot of time sketching in there. I was a bit lost. Poor me lost in Liverpool.

I went for some petrol the other weekend and the garage is on junction 1 on the M58 where there's Macdonalds, Starbucks and KFC too and as I was driving towards it, I saw this motorhome turning right to leave it and I done a double take and thought that didn't half look like the guy off KZbin ha ha. Now that I've just watched this, it was you. Thanks for visiting our city. Your vlogs are always funny and interesting and I think every bloke needs a Claire (as long as she gets her own cake 🤣🤣)

Growing up here we never realised how bad it was compared to other cities, and tbh you couldn’t find a good reason to visit the place. To us it was our home and we were just happy being here with our families. But then boom 2008 came, the covers were lifted and we found out we were living in a stunning place as well, as good as anywhere else, and what’s more the UK woke up and discovered the same thing. It is a pretty city and the people are very special. How lucky am I to live here.

I did a school project on the cathedral in 1978 the year it was completed,it took 78yrs to build

Nice to see you enjoying my home city. Just a few corrections on the history of Chinatown. It is the oldest in Europe, although not the original location which was around the docklands area, during WWII it relocated as the docklands where heavily bombed. The arch was made in and shipped from Shanghai, a twin city to Liverpool, and assembled in Liverpool in 2000. Liverpool Anglican Cathedral is also the longest cathedral in the world by external length of 189 metres. Sir Giles Gilbert Scott won a competition with his design of the cathedral, he was 22 at the time, had no existing building to his name and admitted that his only design to be constructed had been a pipe-rack. He then redesigned it in 1910 to how it looks today, after work had already been started, originally it had 2 towers and I believe that the original design is shown as a model in the cathedral. Another myth of the Liver birds is, if they fly away the city will be destroyed. I hate the e-scooters.
