It's always a pleasure to watch your videos. I am interested to hear what Steve reads and what he thinks about the books. I think our books taste overlaps. I hope you will make some videos together.

Books bought while travelling have a special aura because they have additional memories attached to them.

I've read two of Derek Gow books and I enjoyed thay one for sure. It's weird living in a very rural place and then learning about the controversy of some countries in efforts to bring back wolves and then UK resisting reintroduced beavers haha

Can you imagine wolves in England these days? Makes the trouble beavers cause seem less severe.

I've read all of the Ruth Galloway mysteries and always thought they were set on the Norfolk coast. ??? I did live in Somerset England for two years but most of my life has been in the USA, so that's only guess work. For me, the first nine Ruth Galloway mysteries were very good; the latter ones disappointing.

You could be right. I said it from memory which is always faulty. Thanks for the tip on the series.
