Our commander bought 500 units out of wright Pat. And all were good. Froze solid. And we got to eat 1966 eggs in perfect condition. The rest was put in the storage unit at LIma for later use. Best use of govt funds. I've ever seen.delishous . Thanks SGT WILLIAMS RETIRED

Chesterfield, Kool, Salem, Marvel, Pall Mall, Newport, Camel, Lucky Stripe and Winston are all that I remember, 1969-1981 Usmc. Always ate c rations from 60-64, Marines always giving us what the Navy cast off.

The smokes that seem rarest are Lucky Strikes, and if you find a Lucky Strikes Green (unfiltered menthol) it's really rare.

I think it was Reynolds tobacco company that had the contract with the government to make those C rations and they made Pall Mall and Winston cigarettes so that was in the contract
