I've been ordering from cackle for about 6 years. Always high quality, healthy chicks. I do egg layers.

that third one is a white crested black polish..likely a boy...the Buff on the right is a cochin...the feathered feet are a dad giveaway. Great birds

I have a couple of polish hens and they are so cute. The rooster is our alpha even if he isn’t the biggest one in the yard. That polish rooster struts like he’s 10 feet tall 😂 and takes his guarding job seriously. I’m may get one of these boxes at some point because it looks like so much fun.

The one chick you thought was polish is actually a golden spitzenhauben, but you probably know that by now. They also have a tuft.

You'll be happy with having a few guineas. Just let them free range around the yard to go after the ticks. Just figure they are more skittish, but since you raised they will be imprinted to your place.
@Fiona22542 жыл бұрын
I trained my guineas to sleep in the hen house and roam during the day. It took about 10 weeks of them being locked up in the poulet brooder inside the hen house.

How fun!! You did a great job identifying the chicks. Is there an app for that yet?! How many guineas were there?
@KatieZornes3 жыл бұрын
Thank you. 🙂 So many mysteries to us! I think we ended up with three guineas. A respectable amount. 😂
