After watching your video I am excited again to work on using the projections. I still think I will go with the fog screen for one. My screen is not very sophisticated, but it still looked pretty neat. With this guy I would LOVE to recreate what Disney did in the Shanghai Pirates of the Caribbean ride - the pepper's ghost Skeleton to Jack Sparrow illusion, but that might be way above my level. This guy is amazing! I love that face sculpt! The movement on him is next level.. definitely the most lifelike movement of any prop this year. I loved the intro too.. avast ye sea dog! Can’t wait to see him on your pirate ship!! Great video bud 💀

Thanks! I too love the face sculpt. Sure the eyebrows and where the beard attach could be improved, but for the price he is pretty incredible. I can't wait to see him with my ship too. Now to get started on that ship... Thanks for watching!

Davy Jones' locker!😆Since you mention a mouse, I'm guessing those weren't sprinkles. Still waiting on my Captain Cuts. I think I'll like everything except his hat. It seems to ride a little high. Actually, even though his face is cool, I would have preferred he was a skeleton to match my other pirates.

Haha, I'm glad you caught that. I wasn't sure if I set up the sprinkle joke clearly enough to land. I think you will really like the Captain, but I totally understand that he won't fit exactly with the other skeleton pirates. I was thinking of trying to pepper's ghost him to make him still come across as undead, it all depends on if I have the space to get the lighting right (and if I can pull it off.) The hat is probably the worst part, it was a little difficult to get it to sit right. You might be able to get it to sit a bit lower, or maybe make some simple mods to it. You'll have to let me know how you end up using him. Thanks for watching!

He looks incredible, and I loved your little skit at the beginning (even if it was a bit hard to understand what he is saying). I wish more props had an aux out jack for better quality audio, as it's quite hard to understand what he's saying. Otherwise, he is amazing!

I agree, all props should have the audio out jack. The speakers we get are serviceable, but not great. Better quality audio would definitely improve this guy. Thanks for watching!

Unfortunately the captain is not waterproof, so I have to make sure he is covered in my haunt. I haven't seen Dr. Payne in person yet but I bet he is more impressive seeing him live. Thanks for watching!

Yes, I bought him online when Home Depot did their initial drop. I am sure he'll be in stores once Home Depot puts out their full displays, and he may pop up online again at some point too. Last year they decent store inventory so I suspect you'll be able to find him. Good luck and thanks for watching!
