I believe anchor rode needs a lot more scope 🤓. Scope should be around 140-150’ giving 5:1 or better 7:1 ratio for anchoring in 20’ depth. :). this is a terrific build! Love the engineering that went into the shallop! Yay Ukraine

I received my Santa Maria boat a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed. The quality is every bit as good as this shows! I was thinking of an unboxing, but this is _much_ better than I would have done. 😄 It's nice to see how the parts that come off the frame and out of the box equate to the finished product! My Santa Maria looks very well thought out and complete.

My workshop is very humid at the moment and the frigate hull was packed before my trip when the room was dry! In three summer months - my workshop was covered with green mold and I threw away a lot of wood because of it ((( For a whole month my dehumidifier has been working at full power, and the humidity does not drop below 55. So, probably when the heating season starts in my house - I will be able to continue building this model...

Все мелкие детали вьІрезаньІ в двох или трьох плоскостях поетому они полностью покрити нагаром от резки, его можно смьІть в теплой воде или шлифануть... А передежженнЬІе ето вам надо посмотреть мою распаковку кита от МарисСтелла с бракованной каракой - там реально бьІли угли вместо киля)))

Судя по всему Вы знаете о работе лазерных станков не понаслышке. Тогда подумайте над такой задачей, сечение требуемой детали 1,2Х1,2 мм длина 5 мм, деталь из ольхи, и самое главное она имеет профильную резку во всех плоскостях, то есть в процессе обработки, ее необходимо поворачивать на 90 градусов иногда и по шесть раз ( к примеру одношкивный блок или груша ) Если Вы сможете решить эту задачу без нагара, да просто ее решить )) Вы однозначно гений !

@@PavelNikitinShips Добрый день. Да мне пришлось иметь дело с лазерным станком. Я не хочу прямо здесь чего то доказывать. И повторяю я написал про конкретные детали, причем речь шла не о нагаре, который при резке неизбежен, а о пережоге. И Вы прекрасно понимаете о чем я написал. И касается это только настроек станка и выбора технологии обработки. Болле того судя по вашему посту выше , Вы понимаете проблему и пытаетесь ее решить. Я не говорил , что настраивать станок под резку мелочевки легко, как и решать конструктивные и технологические задачи. Поэтому предлагаю спор закончить, тем более, что не какому конструктивному решению он не приведет. При этом я повторяю сам набор отличный, а имеющиеся недостатки именно этого конкретного образца не сильно его ухудшают. И повторяю я не веду разговор о всех выпущенных изделиях. Я их не видел и обсуждать не могу. Речь идет только об этом конкретном образце. А для будущих покупателей скажу, что в мире не много наборов такого уровня исполнения. Где результатом будет действительно музейное качество модели, при небольших затратах труда и не самой высокой квалификации исполнителя.

Да спорить то и не о чем ) Я о другом писал, есть предел возможности резки деталей из дерева, меньше определенной толщины уже никакие настройки не помогут, то есть 1,3% мало, а 1,4% уже много. А поскольку стоит задача изготовить абсолютно все элементы рангоута и блоков, то на самых мелких деталях уже можно сойти с ума при настройках, и главное повторить их дважды уже не реально, потому что у станка есть масса параметров которые не настраиваются , плюс и сам материал в каждой заготовке имеет разную плотность. А все это нужно в серии делать. Потому и нагар и пережог контролировать в этой мелочевке почти не реально, и научить этому кого то со стороны на мой взгляд не возможно.
