Nice comparison, thanks! Three months on the wrist so far - this is the time I am wearing the yellow dial Tsuyosa on a daily basis, and I love it. Great watch, the small things which bothered me at the beginning (crown position and accesibility, and the cyclope over the date) are now even admired - especially when I am able to read the date without glasses :). Regarding your comment, that Rolex is a lifetime watch while the Citizen is kinda not, I think only the price may define this - just noone will bother servicing or repaiting it. But technically I don't see any aspect which prevents the Tsuyosa to be past down the generations and have the longevity of the Rolex - sapphire crystal, stainless steel construction, automatic movement with 50 years track record, probably very robust paint on the dial (I am brosing a lot the vintage Citizen watches from the 1960-ties and 1970-ties, and most of the specimens have pristine dials still).

Citizen movement will last longer with much less maintenance, whole new movement pretty cheap if ever needed cost of 1 Rolex screw probably much cheaper 😮

I dont recall anyone yet to compare this Citizen with Rolex side by side. Very interesting and detail comparision Clark! This Citizen might be one of the most affortable watch with Tiffany Blue Type dial right now on the market. The thing that interest me the most is always the "wrist time" . If I had this two watches : even if Rolex seem to be a clear winner here in every category (except price) I suspect that by the end ,Citizen not Rolex could be on my writst most of the time. Similar design, better color especially for upcoming summer and in case of "daily scratches" or even being stolen... less tears and headache than Oyster Perpetual . "It has its flaws but it has its own charm". For that Clark I would be grateful If You would add me to enter the giveaway :)

The tsuyosa is really a combination of three Rolex models: oyster perpetual for the case and dial, datejust for the date included, and the day-date for the presidential link bracelet. Seems like their tribute to Rolex and their competition to the Tissot PRX
