Is there a video about the Clash of Spears game itself in the planning? I'm really tempted by the victrix minis for exactly the mentioned reason: Not having 40 of one sort, but rather a small mixed warband (way faster to paint :D ). So i'm wondering if the game is any good. Great unboxing again btw. Looking forward to more of these.

"Iberian" Scuttarii are definitely not Italian. They are Spanish, hence "Iberian".

He was thinking of the Samnites probably. But either way they had nothing to do with the cohort system. They adopted the manipular system when they stopped using Greek style arns and armor and changed to the cohort system after the marian reforms. The Iberians did introduce Rome to the Gladius though.

man, i'm kicking myself for buying hail caesar minis for clash, these victrix sprues are so much cooler, unfortunately being in the US i can't get the victix stuff without ordering from them directly from the UK :(
