The most surprising thing to me was seeing how few pieces there were for each figure. Didn't realize that Conquest used resin models. With all that detail, I was expecting sprues filled with tiny bits so it was nice to see that these could be assembled pretty quickly with a minimum of fuss.

How do players feel about the QR cards in practice? I'd rather have spell text, but if they update it that frequently I suppose it's a good sign of balance and longevity for the system
