I’m almost certain that the Hades - King of Olympus works with any villain card, not just the amber ones. I think the popular color to pair with it is amethyst, but I have also seen emerald used too. It just requires that they have the villain keyword.

Yep it does! Sorry if I implied otherwise. The point I was trying to make is that there is a limited pool of villain cards to choose from right now, and only having two amber villains highly limits your options. The amethyst combo is okay, but feels a little forced. Can't wait to see more options!

Thanks! I hope your luck is better than mine! It's said that enchanted cards are in about 1 in 4 boxes. I've been thrilled to be able to play and share my experiences, so I can't complain

I'm not sure if it makes more sense to buy whole displays or just separate packs here and there to get a better chance for an enchanted card. Opened 15 packs so far and got 3 legendaries but no enchanted unfortunately

@@swizzywaffles2478 got my stuff already 🥳 from my booster box I pulled 4xlegendarys 11x super rares(2x foil) and a whole bunch of rares but no enchanted. So i would say it was a pretty bad box 😅🥲

Hang in there. I think the availability will get better after the first few waves of shipments. I feel really lucky to have gotten what I got. At the same time, 2 weeks prior to launch I called several stores to finally get my first preorder locked down, and it was cool to find a LGS that was selling boxes for participating in their event. Just keep an eye out!

Where i live there is not a store that sells this. I know this is suppose to go on sell on the 1st but i feel they will go fast. Do you have a suggestion on what i can do to increase my odds of getting some starter decks and booster cards now or when they are released? Thank you in advance

Call around ahead of time, specifically Walmart and Target if you have those. Ask how much they will have, and confirm it'll be available on Sept 1st. Ask is they will give numbers to people waiting early to avoid a mob situation. For the ones that have it, arrive early before they open and tell others who arrive you are forming a line. It's a lot of effort, but should pay off. I think I must have called about 12 board game stores before I was able to preorder my first two booster boxes. Good luck, I hope you get some!
