These foiled textured sleeves like the red dragon and starry night are some of the best sleeves I’ve ever had from DS. Whatever that foiling is they put on the back fixed alot of issues with warping, sticking, they shuffle perfectly with catching, I don’t think I’ll go back to any other style of sleeve as long as they keep printing these. Absolutely worth the $25 imo

As I play with them, I’m enjoying them more than I initially thought, though I don’t think the price is worth it. Thanks for watching!

@@AwesomePossumHobbiesandGames do you think these will wear and tear over time as the art fades like normal art sleeves?
@AwesomePossumHobbiesandGames26 күн бұрын
Yes, the art on these will certainly fade in time due to shuffling. The print is a top surface print, since nothing is protecting it from the constant sliding of the sleeves against each other. On top of that, the texture from the opaque layer does damage to the clear side when shuffling. More so than standard dragon shield textured sleeves, leaving them scratched. I think they will last longer than standard Dragon Shields, but I don’t think they will be very pretty. I’m interested to see how long they last. Thanks for watching!

The big question... do they smell like maple syrup like the gold ones did??

Nope, just like plastic. Thanks for watching!

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I opened the box.

I’m just surprised that it was a print, instead of the “foil” that was initially pictured. Yes, the sleeve was pictured, but it was partially blocked by the box. As I play with them, I’m becoming more of a fan. But they aren’t as tough as the new ultra pro apex sleeves. For the price, I was expecting more/better. Thanks for watching!
