For me if there's no side obstacle Avoidance....then omnidirectional is a misused term...it should be tri-directional since only forward, rear, and down sensors....like the Mini 3 Pro

For the Blackhawk 2 Mini, it is 249g, you have to detach the cage/grill underneath the belly of the drone. It is detachable.

I purchased there starting drone call Ranger 7 Plus! For $250.00 I loved it... They worked really hard to answer all my questions. I consider there tech support top notch! Moving to DJI 2s now, instead of the new BlackHawk Pro! They have great videos showing how to fly for beginners like me. EXO is really trying hard to get starting Drone Pilots in the market they serve!
@dan84022 жыл бұрын
It is a rebranded Hubsan, but spec wise it seems pretty descent for the pricing. Also my understanding is support etc is all US based which can be worth it's weight in gold. If they have insurance that would be great too. Plus when you buy from them online, they even offer a free part 107 training course. That is pretty cool too. No it isn't DJI. No it isn't Autel enterprise. It does however seem to be trying to slip in as a better priced option than the others.
@1EyeInTheSky2 жыл бұрын
I think they are still rebranded Hubsans. There was an announced partnership with Hubasn and EXO for US based support and sales since Hubsanus is closing up shop. They used to also have some rebranded ZLRC beast drones as well.

Thanks for review. Any idea if an altitude limit is programmed into the drone mini drone? Also, is Remote ID enabled on the 250g drone, and if yes, can it be turned off?

I don't mind the logo banding or the graphic design, it's a American company so your information is probably more secure than the Chinese DJI. I Never had a DRONE. Price wise DJI was pricey. Two days ago I was going to pull the trigger on the newest Holy Stone HS 170G. Now I'm leaning towards this mini pro. How ever I did email the company about add on prop guards. Nice unboxing.

Hey Bo, its literally the Hubsan Zino Mini, just painted different, though Hubsan actually did finally make a Quadcopter that actually isnt junk,, which carries over into this Quad aswell. But i cant get with the Price, if it was $450, i could say its must buy, if u wanted avoid the data going to china etc, and if u cant stand DJI, oh btw, the bigger one is also exactly like the Hubsan Zino Pro
@tonymcclendon-hobbytime77272 жыл бұрын
Its actually the Hubsan Ace drone, that was released in 2021. Rebranded as an Exo drone. As ken mention, Exo has their own software. maybe that is a plus. Because , as a Hubsan brand, it sucked.

First impression, I am liking the mini better (not that I would buy it). The big boy might be a little unstable in flight because of the short wingspan and small props.

Just watched a video with the CEO. Once I got past his age, I gotta give the kid respect. Didn’t like what he saw and instead of bangin keys in the comment section, he’s out there swinging. Will he connect or strike out, time will tell. I can respect that.

I've been really interested in trying out an Exo drone for a while, similar to you because I see their ads all over the place. From your video, I'm not a fan of the phone being on the bottom of the RC, would rather it be at the top like my Mini 2's RC. Also a little surprised that it looks like a little more thought went into the Exo mini's charging hub compared to the daisy-chaining of the pro.

I've seen some reviews for older Exo drones. It looked like they were reselling another company's drones (SG906 Beast Pro) rebranded and marked up in price. It looks like they're doing something similar by having Hubsan building these and Exo putting their name on it. But who knows. Maybe the merger of Exo and Hubsan will make a competitive drone

As you said it is a personal preference but personally I would have like to see a different color scheme but I guess nothing some decals can’t handle. The big boy comes in right over $1100 so it is a bit of an investment for hobbyist that buy toy drones. ONE thing do they offer some kind of insurance compared the care refresh⁉️
@Nine_8832 жыл бұрын
The bigger drone reminds me a lot of the original Mavic Air version one, except for that mess of propellers on top when it’s folded up. The whole thing reminds me of 2018 and why would I wanna go back to 2018? On the mini version, I think that little grate comes off the bottom to save 5 grams and get it under 250. I have seen a couple videos on these and I just don’t see why I would want to buy this thing. It seems like a decent drone but it’s not worth the price they are asking. I would get a Mini version 2 and be done with it. We already know that’s a very solid room for the price.

I’ve seen the ads on this brand on Facebook a million times and figured it was garbage. This looks intriguing, It would be nice to have something decent to fly just for fun rather than DJI. I like the Pro design, I’d always preferred the original Mavic Air design anyway. I’m curious at what the pricing is? Great job! 👍

These drones are hubsan drones. Exo is now Hubsan in the US....they took over manufacturing here...these drones are same exact as the hubsan ace, and the hubsan mini lol...not bad I guess, but I've only flown 1 hubsan in my life, and I'll never buy another one hahaha...hubsan is notorious for copying dji quads..the pro is a replica of the friggin original dji Mavic air lol

Lol. You say you're looking for opinions on Exo drones? The old generation were SG906 Beast Pro drones with Exo stickers and a marked up price. The new drones are Hubsan drones with Exo stickers and a marked up price. You can watch reviews on those drones to get some opinions If you can't see why people would be critical (sorry "fanboy bias sh*tposting" for absolutely no reason) then I highly encourage you to sell your current drone and buy one of these.
