Not all Noodlers Inks are my favorite but so far on my fountain pen journey I've found some of my favorites from them. I prefer water proof inks which are not that easy to find. That's why I love their "bulletproof" inks.

Nice pen. I tried one at the Baltimore Pen show, but didn't end up getting it. Maybe I'll revisit it next time!

I know I'm weird, but I love the smell of 54th Mass lol I love the color, but I like more broad nibs and my bottle seems super wet and with a more broad nib feathers a lot on even Tomoe River and Life papers it seems.

Lol, we all have our weird little things. The 54th Mass is definitely my favorite blue. That's super interesting about the paper though. While I do prefer a fine nib I have a couple broad nib pens and I've never had that feathering issue. I know this might be blasphemous in the fountain pen community but I've actually never tried the Tomoe River Paper. I've just been super happy with the performance of the cheap papers I've used so far so I haven't felt terribly motivated to go for the more expense fancy stuff. I've also heard that the Tomoe isn't the same as it once was but if you can find the decommissioned version that is the way to go.

Im still on the fence about this pen lol, Not a fan of the Gold if they did a silver version I think that would be straight in my basket lol

That's totally understandable. Little details make a huge difference! For me the feel and utility of this pen make me love it regardless of appearance. I would love to see other colors like blue, green, brown or burgundy.

Ooh that's gorgeous! I would totally buy it as a Piston fill. I would buy it anyway if I didn't already have 3 Kaweco Sports, I feel like I need to branch out for my next couple of pens.
