At the same time, it's nice for history buffs that there are enough other heads that you can avoid using Hollywood helmets if you want. I think I've seen my barbs getting more table time in historical rule sets than actual Frostgrave games and using horned helmets always sets someone off on a rant.

@@blackdicegamingltd Well, I mean they're right, horned helmets are seriously ahistorical as well as really impractical in a fight - but for fantasy settings I'm able to let it slide. I'm careful not to use them (or the more implausible weapons) when they're filling the ranks in a Lion Rampant game or whatever, though.
