I received my yellow solar CasiOak a few weeks ago and the first thing I did put it on a black strap. Fits prefect, just like a GShock should.

I got the yellow but it was to bright and loud for my taste. Ended up sending it back and a black one is on the way. Overall great evolution of an already awesome model.

Love it. Positive display is great. I have one like that bronze G you reviewed. Negative display. It's basically impossible to read.

my second G SHOCK got the black negative display punches above its weight class the lume and strap need work otherwise great piece!

You are right. When I was at the SF Wind-Up, I spoke to one of the Gshock guys at their table and asked.. and, he did let me know there will at least be an all metal one WITH a matching metal bracelet. Now, premium above that like MR-G high? Idk? Probably, if they're really planning to make an all metal one, why not one that'll encroach $4k like the squares?

I received that exact watch last Friday direct from Casio….from the pre order. It’s my first G-Shock watch. I have a CasioOak kit along with a lumed marker ring coming from SKXMOD. The kit includes a FKM rubber strap and a SS link bracelet and tools. I also have a SS screw down case back coming along with the kit.

When I was hoping for a thermal scanner solar system gprb1000 rangeman with a heartbeat monitor. we got a backwards ggb100/grb200. but, i suppose simplicity reigns king. lol.

Not sure, that’s gonna depend on the use I am sure. Quick soap and water and should remain clean
