My wife got me this as an early christmas gift. I got fed up with it in a day. I have a galaxy watch 5 and maybe its cause I'm used to the galaxy watch being so smart and integrating with my galaxy phone. I couldn't deal with the smart feature limitations on the garmen. For the price she spent on it. I needed to love it out the box or at least like it alot. I think if i gave it more of a chance. I may have come to like it but first impressions. Its just not smart enough for me. I've gotten so used to being able to basically use my watch as a wearable phone now. I guess this watch is not for smart watch users but for ppl that want a luxury premium fitbit.

Well, commercials saying Garmin is a Smartwatch are not true. I have an Apple Watch Ultra 1 and a Garmin Fenix 7x Pro SS. Garmin is a GPS, Activity/Fitness Tracker but not a SmarWatch so I get what you are saying. On a Smartwatch you can access different apps, answer to an email or at least a message, editing your calendar etc. I love my Fenix but it's not a smartwatch so I do not use it as one. I am barely using my Apple Watch Ultra, most probably will sell it as Garmin is more my cup of tea. Also, I chose between this Fenix and a Marq gen 2, and if the Marq gen 2 had latest sensors and a bigger battery life, not like my former Epix Gen 2 (5 days with always on display) I would bought it right now. I will wait for the Marq Gen 3 for sure. The fast charge part is a plus, but 5 days is not enough for the price it has.

@@b0shica my needs for a smartwatch are checking notification from call/message, and health tracker that's all and Garmin ( or Coros ) did it well. Another "smart" features such as KZbin ,reply email or web browsing on SS or Apple Watch are stupid and unnecessary. Why do i need to use these on the watch while the phone is in the pocket most of time, these "smart" features are just for showing off and draining the battery imo.
