Watch along as we unbox and give a first look at the HART Tool Chest Combo. Just bought it and thought I'd share my opinion as we set it up!

The kids in the tool box are maybe the cutest thing I've ever seen. Alright, alright, ONE of the cutest... In any event, at my senior (this month) age, I've amassed many tools over the years. Mmy throw-it-in-a-box system is now completely frustrating so I'm getting a bona fide tool chest. Even though it's a Walmart product, from the vids I've seen, the HART is a HUGE value for the price, and as far as I can reasonably tell, the quality is the same, if not better than the Huskys and Craftsmans I've been looking at ( (I've seen a lot of stuck doors on the latter). However, perhaps because of the 2022 supply issues, I just can't seem to find it in stock! Patience. Thank you for the informative (and entertaining) video. You're a good guy!

Those hart boxes aren't bad to start with, I still have mine. However I quickly outgrew it and bought another 44 inch box to go along with it.

I do have other storage as well - garage cabinets and shelves - but my main hand tools and battery drills are easy to find in the Hart toolbox

Thanks for the great review - would you happen to know if your top box bulges out slightly at the level of the top shelf? Just unboxed mine and on the right hand side there is a visible bulge at the level of the shelf. On the left hand side there is a bulge that is less visible but can still clearly be felt. Just wondering if this is normal or if I may have received a defective one that I should return/replace. Thanks!

What is the height of just the top box, with the top compartment open?

My wife would have dropped that and then blamed me the woman has dropped almost everything she's ever helped me move. The water heater she let go of while I was on the attic stairs, the China cabinet we were almost ready to set on the ground, the computer desk as we got it out of the truck (broke the desk when she dropped her side), the fridge when we moved, basically if it's heavy and uncomfortable she quits so at least your wife didn't quit when it was hard.

Great video. I've been looking at these but not sure how I feel about the shallow drawers. I like that they are full width drawers. How do you like the box now that you've been using it a while?

Hart is TRASH. Got mine yesterday after a 3 month out of stock delay. Came busted up bad not only is Walmart refusing to pick up the damaged chests I called Hart Tools to try and get this resolved. They were not only rude but told me they don't deal with THEIR OWN BRANDED TOOL CHESTS, so they forwarded me to some random company who was even more worthless and claimed they don't make these for hart anymore. So I'm left with 2 broken tool chests and a nice long Dispute battle with my bank and the BBB. Hart should be ashamed of themselves and Walmart is way to big of a company to even care about customer service anymore. Warning to anyone looking into this brand GOOD LUCK!
