Unboxing Home Signal from Three

Found out recently about it, had the same problem - 50% coverage outside, 0%-25% indoors. Phoned them up and even got disconnected half way through the conversation with a Three consultant. He did some checks, took all the details and said I will almost certainly get one. Must wait up to 48h for a call back from the maintenance people. Nice vid, thx!

Just got off the phone to 3 and managed to get one of these sent out. Mast maintenance in the area but hasnt fixed it and told there is no ETA on fixing it so she was happy to send one out free of charge. Told her i had tried three intouch but wasn't finding it very good to which she agreed. Surprised I got one free as im on sim only £15 and have only been with three for 2 weeks. If anyone is trying to get one I would recommend ringing up and asking and just being polite and make small talk. Let them go through their checks and state to use intouch, but just say that youre still missing calls etc. Dont ask straight away about home signal, let them mention it and then act really impressed and see where you get. Helped me by saying im looking to bring my family to three but they wouldn't switch because of indoor signal.

how easy was it to get? ive been with three for years and since moving in this home 2 years ago ive only had an outdoor signal with little no no signal in home. ive put up with it but its an annoyance when people call who cant hear me speaking. anyway my contract is up in september and was gonna change network till i seen these. really like three for their one plan so hopefully they will help me out.

how did you get it for free - is your home advertised as being in a signal area?

Got one. It took one call and his did a line check etc etc. Coming on Tuesday :-)

Does the unit require a live landline or does it jut need a router to send a signal? i have no live landline...but have a router

It uses your broadband, so just a router wont help.

They phoned me up and questioned me to make sure it was the signal coverage and not my phone, then it arrived the next day.
