Annika, I always get anxiety before going out to meet people (even friends I know!). The trick is to do it anyway. You're more likely to psyche yourself out ahead of time than in the moment, so even if your head is freaking out, you need to tell yourself to go regardless of how anxious you're feeling. The anticipation is wholly worse than the event itself. Even if you still feel anxious after you get there, there's no harm in bowing out, and at least you pushed yourself to try! I know anxiety manifests itself differently in everyone, but I thought I would put in my two cents in the matter. TLDR: Go you! Keep doing things despite anxiety! Kick its butt!

Ive been doing the same thing. The mind can be so toxic the longer you stew on things and letting it manifest you, so i never give myself the time to stew and just go before i can think about it hahah. Scary full coffeehouse? I’ll almost run inside just so i cant even think about how scary and anxious i get. It’s been so helpful because everytime i remind myself “remember last time i was scared? I did it anyway and it all worked out”.

I would consider myself an extrovert and yet I still get really bad anxiety when meeting new people, especially in groups. Whenever I push myself to do it, it’s almost always worth it, but I have definitely cancelled many plans to sit at home feeling weird LOL. Proud of you for pushing through it and honestly it made me feel a little less scared to see people again

Also, my macbook is the computer that lasted the most (compared to windows computers) so I like to think that buying a macbook is a good investment and that it is worth my money! Also, macbook retina screens are really sharp and glossy it makes pictures pop and look amazing (compared to my DELL/Windows computer) so for someone who edits lots of videos like you that sounds like a great investment!

Hi Annika! I'm a plant mom of 40 plants. I don't have a fiddle leaf fig, but in all of my research regarding them, the brown leaves (even though they are dry feeling) means you're overwatering your baby! An easy fix, however, if you can, I would check out it's roots. If the roots are mushy and black, it has root rot and you'll have to cut off all of the bad roots. If the roots are white and kind of fuzzy, perfect! To avoid overwatering, really let all of the soil dry out. You can buy meters online, I swear by mine, that will inform you of when the soil is dry because it uses metal to conduct for water levels. Also, if you have brown leaves, cut them from your fig tree because they won't rebound into being not brown and your plant is now wasting energy to those leaves, that will eventually fall off and die anyway. Cutting off dead/brown leaves can allow it to put energy towards current leaves and new growth! Love your videos and I really hope this helps!

Hey Anna! I have a suggestion to make and it's similar to the baba ganoush you made! I'm Crimean tatar, and turkish, and there is this eggplant spread called Ikra! I'll give you the recipe if you'd like to try it: Tips for Making This Ikra Recipe Choose ripe eggplants: If you have never purchased eggplant before, look for one that has shiny skin and has a very slight give when you press on the skin. Roast your vegetables: Roasting rather than sauteeing the vegetables gives you all the flavor, without the added fat that you would otherwise need to add to saute them. Peel the skin: Once your vegetables are roasted, make sure to leave them covered in a bowl for 30+ minutes, which will make it easier to peel the vegetables for this ikra recipe. Cook until the ikra is thick and darker in color: After combining all ingredients together, continue cooking until the vegetables deepen in color, which intensifies all of those delicious flavors, 5-7 minutes should be enough. Leave chunky or puree: we prefer this vegetable appetizer slightly chunky, but you can run it through a food processor to make it more puree-like. Recipe: Preheat the oven. Roast the bell peppers and eggplant. Let the roasted veggies sit in a covered bowl, then remove and discard the skin. Sautee onions and carrot in oil. Add the roasted veggies to the pan with the sauteed vegetables. Add tomato sauce. Season with herbs, then cook for an additional 5-7 minutes. Allow the Ikra to cool before serving with sliced bread or any other way you’d like. Instructions Preheat oven to 450F° with the rack in the middle. Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil for easier cleanup. Bake the vegetables: Place 2 eggplants and 3 bell peppers on the prepared baking sheet and bake for about 40 minutes or until soft. Rotate the vegetables several times to bake through on all sides. Next, remove the vegetables to a large bowl, cover with plastic wrap and allow to sit for about 30 minutes. This will sweat the veggies and allow for the skin to come off easier. Peel the skin off the eggplant and the peppers, discard the stems and seeds and juice. Chop the eggplant and the bell pepper finely with a knife. Saute onion and carrots: While the vegetables are baking saute the vegetables. Dice 1 large onion and peel and grate 1 large carrot. Preheat a large skillet with 6 tbsp of oil, then sautee the onions over medium heat until slightly golden and translucent, stirring often. Next, lower the heat to low, add the grated carrots and continue to stir and saute, covering with a lid in between to cook the carrots thoroughly, about 10 minutes. Set aside. Combine and saute: Add the roasted and chopped vegetables to the sauteed carrots and onion. Also add 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, 1 tsp of kosher salt and 1/2 tsp of black ground pepper and 2 cloves of pressed garlic (if using). Stir and cook over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until the Ikra is thickened and darkened in color. The sauteeing deepens the flavor. Lastly add 1/4 cup of finely chopped parsley, if using. Stir, taste for seasoning and adjust if needed. Allow to cool and serve. There it is! I hope you enjoy

M1 chip is so cool that it doesn't even need a fan to be used for things like browsing and drawing. I have an M1 Macbook Air since a month ago and it's so cool, unless for video meetings, OBS recording, and gaming (but the heat isn't too strong). A fan is an overkill feature for light usages, and M1 Macbook Air doesn't have it Beware of swap memory when you browsing if you want your Macbook last longer (I use Chrome and it tends to use swap memory), since SSD tears as it's used and swap memory intensively using your SSD and having 8GB of RAM is prone to swap memory usage
