That's one seriously slick looking piece of kit guys, I'm very tempted now to sell my long track and get this

It is a great slider, Magic Carpet Pro offers some very cool and interesting features. You can find more info here: bit.ly/syrp-magic-carpet-pro

Syrp thanks. Would this be better than the long track magic carpet in currently use for time-lapse?
@SyrpLab6 жыл бұрын
The use of Magic Carpet Pro or a Magic Carpet won't make any difference to time-lapse. Magic Carpet Pro has been designed to produce supremely smooth tracking moves with heavier camera loads, so it really depends on what camera you are currently using. Plus has a carriage-integrated Flywheel for smooth camera movement.

Ordered one after playing with it at NAB. Out of stock for months at B&H. Finally got a refund.

I need to suspend this upside down for a project. Do you think there is any issue with this? It's "wedged" in the track right?
@SyrpLab Жыл бұрын
Hi, that should not be an issue, we've also used it upside down. Just check the specs for payload information when underslung.

Said you were going to talk about the counterweighting later in the video but you never did.

Such a cool product! Once again, New Zealand competing with the best in the world. I’m a filmmaker in Tauranga and would love to one day work with the equipment you guys make!

With the flywheel engaged does the slider make noise when sliding or is it silent?
@SyrpLab5 жыл бұрын
Silent :)
