@@tractorben ya my dad in Arkansas has a 1979 2wd and a 86 4wd back when deutz was made in Germany the 86 model believed is 85 hp but was turned to 100hp not sure what the 2wd one is but he been running a 10 ft brush hog down so hills that goes straight to the bottom what helps is the braking the have really good stuff

Does yours "beep" after you shut it down? I can't figure out what it's telling me. I've read the manual but must have missed this.

All tractors with ERG do. That’s the EGR stroking. Completely normal

@@tractorben Thanks. There is a page (section 3-6) that tells you how the tractor talks to you w beeps. I don't think the EGR thing was in there or I missed it.

I don’t know about “talking to you.” The only audible notification I am aware the owner can reset is the maintenance minder. Anything else would require the Diagnostic tool and a tech. The ECM and EGR will beep and make noise upon activation or shutdown.

Which gears are synchronized vs not? Good job Mahindra looks like a nice tractor

Far as I understand, the main gear box is Sync’d. The tractor needs to be stopped to change sub-ranges. It did shift very smoothly. Probably the best shifting Mahindra I’ve seen.

Fyi. It's a dual plate dry clutch, not single. I believe one plate for odd and one plate for even gears.

There is usually a procedure printed in the operation manual. If not, just contact your dealer and I’m sure they can help you.

Looks like a nice machine. I'm considering purchasing a Mahindra tractor. If I heard you right you said there's only one set of remotes behind the seat. In my experience I've always had two sets of remotes and found them very handy and almost necessary. Is a second set of remotes optional? Thanks - Will

Hi Will, yes a second set is optional. I would expect somewhere in the $1,400-$1,800 to add the 2nd set.
