This months glossy box was awful in my opinion. I guess they had to cut down on costs after giving away 50 hair tongs. Which they probably didn’t even give out and probably just gave to influencers... well I certainly didn’t get one 😂😂

Oh really? I liked the actual box itself :). I believe that giving the tongs to influencers was perhaps part of marketing but they certainly did give away to non influencers too :) xx

Yeah was not happy with mine. I got tiny samples that I've gotten from ipsy. I canceled mine. I'm not paying what they charge when I get better things from ipsy for $10 and boxycharm is great for about the same price.

Okay so this came up after watching reviews for completely different subscription boxes and out of curiosity I have watched this and similar videos of opening lots of make-up and beauty boxes. What I can't fathom is how any one person can possibly use all this stuff especially as it often has a best before date of anywhere between 3 months (mascara) and 2 years. You would need a massive amount of storage for it all and presumably forget 3/4 of what you have bought. It's not a criticism and each to their own but I just wonder about these things.
