Thank you sir for making this video. I went and got a bangin' power drill at home depot and the wrench set. I also got a $10 drill bit set that came with the recommended 7/32 bit (for wood) so that I can start a pilot hole so that fat lag bolt doesn't split the stud, which can happen.😳 No thanks! Anyway, I got my TV all done up with the attachments and also put together the wall mount. All's I got to do is attach that plate to the wall tomorrow and hang the tv. But this video was reassuring 😁

Thanks so much for uploading! - I wanted to ask you how you hid the wires coming off your TV - it looked like you disguised them behind some strip attached to the wall, that you maybe painted the same color as the wall? Looked great. Thanks

Yes. That strip can be found at any home improvement store.

@AaronToro4 жыл бұрын
I know you probably figured this out since it's been a month, but I just grabbed a bit that was smaller than the bolts inner thread diameter. I went with 11/64 but anything around that size should work

Does it. show weight for TV. I have a older flat screen tv that’s heavy. The other mounts are heavy by themselves.I sent one back that so heavy , between it and the tv I was afraid to put it up.

How far from the wall can you mount the TV if I would use the longest spacer? My power socket is invisible and behind the TV, but it does protrude, and I will need at least 2" (between 5 and 6cm).

Excellent Video! Studs should be on 16" or 24" centers my tape measure has every 16" in red which helps. I'm mounting 2X4s flat on wall first. top one is 50" long so it will be over 4 studs to carry 120lbs. bottom 2x4 will be over 2 studs as it doesn't need to carry weight. My Roku Hisense TV is 98" size. My Vesa TV mounts are sized 700X400mm. My Mounting Dream mount is 800x400mm. Model No. MD2263-XLK

I got couple questions, at 11:40 when you were tightening the screws you didn’t have washers in them, but when you were done at 11:51 they had washers in them, did you unscrew and add washers again? Also do we not need anchors for the holes?
@KOMOSTECH5 жыл бұрын
It’s a good idea to use washers it won’t hurt. If you are mounting to Sheetrock then you may want to anchor. You want to mount to solid beams or studs in the wall. The screws well give you a nice secured bracket
