I said in a video once that I have a theory that classic colors aren't as hard to get as people think because they're always in production but I think that they're reserved for 2 kinds of clients: those that spend a lot and those that SAs like a lot. You clearly scored high on the likability scale!!!

I suspect this is also the case. Also, I have always heard getting gold hardware is a lot easier. Plus clients who spend a lot probably already have black and there isn't an infinite number of buyers ready to drop $10k on a Birkin on a single day. The SA's still have to sell things as quickly as they come in. Plus I can't imagine COVID hasn't also affect Hermes.

Not sure where in Mexico you got your bag, but I work in this big mall in Mexico City (Polanco area) where you can find a lot of luxury stores like Hermès, LV and Cartier like you mentioned, and I work in the tax refund for tourists area, so I often see people doing their tax refund process and trust me I see a lot of Birkin, Kelly and Hermès bags in general and I cal tell by this that Mexico is an easy place to get one of them. I came randomly to see this vid but I was definitely not expecting to see you got your Birkin in Mexico.

But believe me Hermes Birkin bag are a good piece of investment they last long & you can fit as much stuff as possible. As well as they has high resale value even than gold recently I brought a customized Birkin bag 55 in sakura pink & red ombre with palladium and solid yellow gold hardware with encrusted diamond & rubies from the showroom of newyork & it costed me 78 million dollars because it was my birthday babe. & I am a huge Hermes fangirl I recently own a collection of 5 thousand Hermes bags. But trust me guys & girls it's a worthy piece of investment and can also pass it your children as heirloom. If I want to restore it or fix any chap that happened to my bag I can visit the Hermes spa which offers me a great restoration price that is 68 thousand per bag it's really worth it the price girl. & Due to its high resale value if I sell one Birkin bag from my 5 thousand collection of Hermes bags I can buy 3 mansion in Beverly hills or I can buy 6 private jets or I can buy 8 rolls Royce just by selling my one Birkin because of its limited nature and due to its extremely high resale value I love it. Hermes is to die for.

Congrats on your bag - just curious, where will you wear it? I live in Australia and I can't justify buying it as I would hardly wear it out - our lifestyle here is beach, quality casual wear - where I live there are plenty of people living a comfortable life, but understated clothing and accessories and nobody draws attention to themselves. Very curious here.
