I never heard of them before but this is certainly an interesting watch. I tried the wheel myself and got a laco on tier 1, but after import tax it ended up costing what it would have if I'd have bought from a retailer here. But if you don't get stung, then they can be great value

It’s a reboot of an old company. Speculation with all of these is that it’s a mushroom brand of WG, or a Chinese brand capitalizing. But getting past that, they have some great looking watches! I put a link to their website in my description. Inflated prices make you think that they never intend to sell directly on the website, though.

These watch gang videos actually might make me subscribe to the black tier this month. Seiko is one of my favorite brands I have owned quite a few seiko's but currently don't have any. currently wearing customized Casio Duro and some g shocks. I have an Oceanus on the way in may . After that trying to get a victorinox for the collection.

I would suggest trying the quarterly subscription before committing to the monthly, but you can cancel anytime either way. Respect to Watch Gang for making it easy to cancel, too. You can do it online with one click…probably easier than signing up! I’m a little reluctant on the value, though, with the recent subscription price increases. I’lol bet you’re going to love that Oceanus!

I know, right? I’m enjoying it so far. But the clasp won’t center on my wrist. I’ll have to transfer a link from one side to the next, which will really throw off the symmetry. Will cover in my full review down the road. Yes, the dial is fantastic!

The dial reminds me a lot of the Navitimer. I don't care for fake rotating bezels, and I have not heard of this brand before. Seems like I have not heard of most brands offered by the watch gang.

Yes, beautiful dial! This bezel rotates…from the 10 o’clock crown. Or, do you mean you don’t like seeing a coin-edge that isn’t workable? Do a search for vintage Cadola and you’ll find some cool old watches! WG seems to have a lot more “name brands” on their wheels, but many of those spins are priced much higher.

Yeah, I guess I can understand that. I hadn’t thought much about it. That’s why I love interacting with other watch enthusiasts…you learn a lot about what others like and dislike! I like it on this watch, but probably because I don’t necessarily relate the look to function, since there isn’t an external bezel insert.

Well, this process is much different than joining the monthly or quarterly subscription. It can be hit or miss. I think much of it depends on your willingness to be open minded to what you may receive! The service met my purpose and I no longer subscribe. This one is pretty slick! It looks great on the mesh, but also not my favorite. But I've moved this mesh to other watches as well and enjoyed it on them, too. Decent bracelet. If you want to see pictures of it on other straps, check out my Instagram. You'll have to dig around a little, but that's always fun! Well, thanks for the offer, but this one's a keeper for now! You might be able to find it elsewhere 2nd hand, though. They had a sale on the Cadola website recently, and these were included, but if I remember correctly they were still overpriced while on sale, in my opinion.

Weird. I get that this watch costs now 567 dollars. Is that normal or like on some Paganis Aliexpress stores where they pump up the cost of some watches for the algorithm and consumers to get to say that they have lowered the price, later on?

My theory is that brands like these sell to other retailers, so when you see the watch on retailer X's store and then check the price at the manufacturer's website you'll feel like you're getting an awesome deal at retailer X. Same goes for Watch Gang IF someone got this as their subscription watch. Makes them feel good. I never buy into the MSRP, even with big brands like Seiko. So, if you search around you can probably find this watch much cheaper. Colors may start to be less of a choice, though, as it's been out for a while.

Yeah, I’m diggin’ it! Enjoying the mesh bracelet, but the clasp doesn’t center on my wrist. Will have to adjust links more. I think the key to the wheel spin is to be comfortable with the price of any watch you put on the lowest tier, because that’s your worst-case scenario. Haha…love it when I can include some sticker peel satisfaction!

Me too! It’s easier to accept when it’s not a complete surprise. I loaded up all three slots of tier one with this watch; two white dial slots, and one black dial slot. It’s been a great watch so far!
