sorry to say but your brother in law stitched you up with the 3070 8gb - Its the 8gb that is the problem with some newer titles - hogwarts, resident and the last of us. would of been better with a 3060 12gb or even better an amd 12gb card. which also leads to future proofing with the power supply, How gutting if you wanted to upgrade your graphics card at a later date, only to find the power supply not adequate (quick google search of that unit shows its only bronze rated). IMO the power supply should be the best you can get with your budget - it has the potential to fry everything else and that would not be the happiest of meal for anyone The main reason why I think it is better to build your own pc (and it is *very easy* to do) is not just cost and getting exactly what you want- but it is the guarantee, You only have 12 months guarantee, but if you buy the components separately (depending on the manufacturer and item) you would get 3-5 years guarantee. Anyway I hope you enjoy your silent computer and have many hours of fun on it

thank you for your time and explaining everything..i for sure don't know what is better, we mostly bought it for ovies and work..but maybe soon will make some gaming videos..who knows..
