Wow, great review and amazing case, I was looking for a new case and was reading/watching a ton of reviews for a ton of cases and this review closes the deal for me. Such a tidy case, I love how you can store so many different drives and harddrives, even a floppy drive. Which I might actually do, since I am a 'senior gamer' who still has his old Amiga 500 (with a memory expansion that brings it to whopping 2.3 Mb Ram, can you belive that?) and there are actually ways to make 'modern' drives read old Amiga disks. Anyway, I am going to build a completely new system, I want my PC being as quite as possible and this seems to be a great case for that. Even more so since I can get one for 125 Euro. If I might ask a question, I am not a fan of AIOs and I am _not_ going to install water cooling again. I have no time for all that 'bending hard tubes' business at the moment, so I am going to use a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU cooler, which has stats that are just as good or even better than similar coolers from established brands and with 50 Euro is a damn steal in comparison to coolers from established brands which easily costs twice or thrice as much. Maybe that would be an interesting subject for a review? This cooler with, well, cool a Ryzen 7 7800x3D (the 7950x3D is beyond my budget right now) and I wonder if the fans that come with the case are sufficient enough for that or if I would need extra fans on top? And apart from that, I looked through your reviews and they are all so straight to the point (the vid about thermal paste comes at the best moment), without hours of empty talk, I really wonder why you don't have more subsribers. Well, you have at least one more know and thanks again helping me making a decision!

First thank you so much for the kind words, I guess internet does its thing when it comes to views and such, waiting for my moment still 😁 As for the CPU cooler, Thermalright always had how to say, underdog coolers, they are not popular but they do the job so good for less money then more popular brands. Consider that one or perhaps, Scythe Fuma 2 Rev B for example, DeepCool AK620 too, those are great coolers within same price range. Do not be afraid of AIOs they so easy to work with nowadays, hard tube bending and all that jazz, looks cool, does the job but not worth it, especially if you need to worry about leaks every time you turn on the PC 😒 As for the case fan, at least one more on top, at least, two 140mm fans would be perfect just to take the hot air out quicker 👍 Once again huge thanks for the kind words and welcome aboard btw 🙏

@@LevelUPGamingTech Thanks a lot for your answer! I've already taken a look at the fans you've mentioned, but I think I will stick with the Thermalright Peerless Assassin for now. Even more so since it comes (if wanted) with RGB - I don't need a lightshow in my rig, but I think this will fit nicely with the RGB lights in the Pure Base case. As for the AIO, the stats for the Thermalright fan are quite promising, so I think I will still give this fan a try. I can still switch to an AIO later, but so far, so much brute cooling capacity for less than 50 Euro is worth to be tested out. I can still switch to an AIO later, but this would also mean higher costs, more hustle (even if only a little) and more parts that can fail. And I always have use for a good CPU fan in case I change my mind later. And I will take your advice concerning the extra fans on the top into consideration for sure. I have not put together a new rig for quite some time and to be honest, now that the parts are on the way, I am surprised that I actually feel a bit like a child on christmas eve. I went all in and got myself a Corsair rm850x Shift as well and with the neat SSD mounts and the interesting sideways connectors of the Shift PSU, I think this will become one of the most tidy looking builds I've ever put together. Even more so since I decided to get some nice high 1Tb/2Tb M.2 SSDs for the OS and my gaming needs (damn, is my -pile of shame- backlog of games huge) and re-use my old SSDs for storage, so I might want to take out the HD bracket completely, which is better for the airflow anyway. Can't wait to put this thing together. Oh, after watching your comparison, I've decided to listen to another of your suggestions and to use the Gelid GC-4 thermal paste. Not that it would matter, considering what I spend overall for this rig, but it has the additional advantage of being quite a lot cheaper as well. I've spend 10 Euro for a huge 10 g tube, whereas 2 g of thermal paste from, let's say Kryonaut cost twice or even thrice as much. The only thing that is a bit annoying is that the GPU market is such a mess, so I will stick with my 3060 Ti for now. Which lets the CPU look like total overkill, but then again, this rig is planned with a couple of years of futureproofness in mind (last rig is eight years old now) and I can upgrade the GPU somewhere on the way. No way I spend almost a monthly wage for a GPU. Anyway, thanks again for your advice!

@@LevelUPGamingTechI am looking for the Same case at the Moment. Do you think the case is big enough and has a good airflow for rtx 4080 and a big air cooler Like noctua nh-dh15?

I would call this one a "Gentleman's case", because it's black and looks serious enough. Good that you mentioned that AIO air restriction ... keep up Vlad

Yeah could be that I did not remove the inner mesh filter 😀 But anyhow it is restricted due to the radiator itself it's normal when AIO is in the front. And thanks buddy 😀

If you don't need RGB fans for her computer, look at Arctic P12 fans, fairly inexpensive but great fans 👍 Also there are BeQuiet Silent Wings fans, should be inexpensive as well, models without RGB, they look the same as these in the video only without RGB. Thanks as always bro 🤘

Mr Level Up you seem like the perfect person to ask on which laptop I should get. I've been looking at the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED with 16GB RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD or the ASUS TUF with 32GB RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD. I'm a video editor. But I'm looking to edit a bit more 4k. I've seen your videos explaining RAM but im still not sure what to do. The OLED on the Zenbook is stunning,but the extra RAM on the TUF will be very beneficial. What would you pick between the two?
@LevelUPGamingTech
@LevelUPGamingTech Жыл бұрын
If we are talking about editing then 32GB model would be a better choice, but again OLED is a great thig too. Here is something to consider, there should be an option to add more RAM to the OLED model, if you can do that, then get that one and add more RAM to it, should be a better option in the end. 👍
