happy mother's day Mel and congrats on your stunning bag! :) indeed the consignment process you described is what I found to be a consistent practice across the reputable physical consignment shops in Singapore (and we have a lot for a rather small population haha). this gives a lot more certainty to the seller, and some commercial flexibility to the consignment shop to negotiate the final price with the buyer. love the positivity that your channel always exudes, Mel :) we all need some of this!

I think that when you really wanna curate your collection and have specific colors and sizes and hardware, we really need to head to the consignment route. And i think its smarter that way instead of accepting and accepting H bags that are offered but we are lukewarm about. Our items need to really make our hearts sing for joy whenever we use it. Your constance was gorgeous but it didnt make your heart smile. So the choice was easy. Congratulations on that beautiful bag and may it bring you so many good memories. Love from the Philippines!!!

I have to share with you that I was in Honolulu for a week and went into the Hermes store on Waikiki. I did buy a couple of things that I wanted not to be offered a bag. A day after, I received a text from the SA who asked me what I wanted. I ended up getting a Birkin 25 in Barenia leather...Havane with gold hardware. I have bought items from the Beverly Hills store but never offered a bag. I'm so glad I waited and was able to get what I wanted. 😊
