This video made me cry. I, too, had a mum who always strove to get me everything my Barbie heart desired as a kid. She was the reason I started collecting as an adult and together we enjoyed the hobby for many years before she passed in 2022. I'm still an avid collector and continue the hobby today for her as much as for myself. I look at certain dolls in my collection and get emotional sometimes when I remember how much fun my mum and I had together collecting all these beauties. Thank you for your video! Awww I’m so sorry for your loss!!! Barbie definitely pulled me out of the depression I had after losing my parents. The majority of my Barbies are from my childhood in the 90s and looking at them definitely gives me the feels. But it also makes me happy because I now share a Barbie bond with my daughter who loves her as much as I do, and despite being a teen? She is still a doll collector. Which is something I wasn’t brave enough to do as a teen. I’m happy you enjoyed this and I thank you so much for watching! Love back at you from Texas ❤
